Tennessee Titans release 2019 Training Camp Schedule for Fans

 

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans 2019 Training Camp begins in July and features nine open practices for fans to watch. There will be a night practice at Nissan Stadium on Saturday, August 3rd. On August 14th and 15th, the Titans will practice with the New England Patriots.

Admission is free to all the open practices for fans. All practices, except the August 3rd practice, are held at the Saint Thomas Sports Park located at 460 Great Circle Road in Nashville Tennessee.

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – The National Football League (NFL) announced the 2019 preseason schedule this afternoon and the Titans will be hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers on NBC’s Sunday Night Football on August 25th for a week three matchup.

Additionally, the Titans will be hosting the defending Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots in week 2 (August 15th-18th) at Nissan Stadium.

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota, who finished his fourth NFL season, missed three total starts in 2018 due to injuries. Nevertheless, he posted his third consecutive winning record as a starter (7-6) and set the franchise single-season record with a 68.9 completion percentage.

Mariota’s 27 wins as a starting quarterback in his first four years with the club rank second in franchise annals behind only George Blanda’s 34 victories. Mariota is the fifth player in NFL history to record 12,000 passing yards (12,004) and 1,200 rushing yards (1,270) in his first four NFL seasons, joining Russell Wilson, Cam Newton, Jeff Garcia and Blake Bortles.

Tennessee Volunteers - UT VolsAthens, GA – Tennessee Vols Football scored two second-half touchdowns to pull within 12 points, but a late push by No. 2/3 Georgia proved to be too much for the Volunteers in a 38-12 defeat at Sanford Stadium.

“We have fight in us, and we’re not going to quit,” Tennessee head coach Jeremy Pruitt said. “It kind of gets me excited. These guys on this team have had a lot of negatives go against them for awhile, and I’m proud of them for the way they fought.

“And it isn’t easy. Our guys kept fighting, which means we’re headed in the right direction and that excites me.”
