Nashville Predators win a thriller against the Vancouver Canucks, 3-2, sit atop the central division

Nashville PredatorsNashville, TN – Things looked pretty bleak for the Nashville Predators tonight after the first intermission, trailing the lowly Vancouver Canucks, 2-0.  With Nashville in a real battle for the central division title of the Western Conference, and the St. Louis Blues bearing down on the Preds, this game had real significance.

Not only does Nashville want to win their division, but they want home ice advantage throughout the Stanley Cup playoffs and it all seemed to be slipping away in this game tonight.

First, Markus Granlund backhanded the puck past Nashville goalie Pekka Rinne after taking a perfect pass from Quinn Hughes and the Canucks led 1-0.

Nashville Predators defeat San Jose Sharks 5-3

Nashville PredatorsNashville, TN – They don’t get any easier at this stage of the NHL season, but the Nashville Predators, behind goalie Juuse Saros, gutted out the win over the San Jose Sharks at Bridgestone Arena, 5-3 tonight.

The win prevents the Sharks from clinching a playoff spot.

My Two Cents: Nashville Predators On The Verge, Fans Off The Charts

My Two-Cents with Hank BonecutterClarksville, TN – The Nashville Predators hockey team is on the verge of winning the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs and Predator’s fans have TOTALLY lost it!

In a REALLY exciting way!

As a season ticket holder, I’ve endured the good and the bad from this team.  As I’ve previously posted, this team looks unbeatable at times, and others, they look like they’re just treading water.  During this round of playoff hockey, they look invincible.

My Two Cents: Nashville Predators Sweep Chicago Blackhawks, Now What?

My Two-Cents with Hank BonecutterNashville, TN – The Nashville Predators have done something that nobody could have ever predicted.  The eighth seeded Preds have won four games in a row over the Stanley Cup Champions, and #1 seed, Chicago Blackhawks.  It’s called a SWEEP!

Not one single hockey writer, broadcaster, play-by-play guy, producer, coach, player or even the equipment guy could have ever predicted that the Nashville Predators would sweep their series against Chicago.
