Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Department Officers, Hostage Negotiators and the Tactical Team are on scene of the suicidal man. Negotiation is in progress.

The man’s truck was located in the area of 2838 Wilma Rudolph Boulevard. The parking lot surrounding Red Lobster, South Hampton, North Edgewood and and a portion of Wilma Rudolph is still closed to traffic.

Updates will be provided when a change of status occur.

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police officers are on the scene of a suicidal man. The man’s truck has been located in the area of 2838 Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.

The parking lot surrounding Red Lobster, South Hampton , North Edgewood and and a portion of Wilma Rudolph Boulevard is closed to traffic.

Residents should avoid the area and seek an alternate route.

Clarksville Police Department cites three businesses during December 1st Alcoholic Beverage Commission Operation

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On December 1st, 2016, Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) Agents of the Clarksville Police Department’s Special Operations Unit working in conjunction with Agents from the Tennessee State Alcohol Beverage Control conducted operations targeting the sales of alcohol to underage persons.

Compliance checks were done on 15 businesses with 12 businesses being found in compliance and 3 businesses cited for sales of alcohol to underage persons.

Memory Lane CruisersClarksville, TN – Memory Lane Cruisers’ Cruise Night has a brand new site. Starting April 2nd – October 1st, Time: 6:00pm – 9:00pm, they will be cruisin at Books A Million parking lot, located at 125 Hampton Place, Clarksville, TN 37040 (Corner of Hampton Place and Wilma Rudolph Boulevard).

They welcome all classic cars/trucks, muscle cars, street rods and hot rods. There will be door prizes, 50’s/60’s Music and more.

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Wednesday, January 6th, 2016, Alcohol Beverage Control Agents (ABC) of the Clarksville Police Department’s Special Operations Unit conducted operations in conjunction with Tennessee State Alcohol Beverage Control Agents targeting the sales of alcohol to underage persons.

Compliance checks were conducted on 16 businesses with beer sales permits and or alcohol sales permits with 3 businesses found to be in violation and cited for sales of alcohol to underage persons.

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Thursday, December 4th, 2014, Alcohol Beverage Control Agents (ABC) of the Clarksville Police Departments Special Operations Unit conducted operations targeting sales of alcohol to underage persons.

Compliance checks were conducted at eleven restaurants. Nine restaurants were found to be in compliance and two restaurants were cited for sales of alcohol to underage persons. Youth Gain Self Esteem Through Fashion Show Gala

L.E.A.P. OrganizationClarksville, TN – Tuesday, January 25th, 2014 marked the 1st Annual LEAP Charity Fashion Show Gala at the Emmanuel Family Life Center.

Youth modeled the fashions of local designers such as ELO, Molerevon, Sacer & Savive, Heaven Sent Bowtique, Filthy Rich Celebrity Jewelry, and E & S Fashions with Gem’s Hair Salon and Eyetunes donating their time to provide participants with hair and makeup makeovers. While some students modeled, other students prepared the food and served guests.

Mt Olive Historical Preservation Society and the Darden Foundation Partner to Advance Brandon Hill Youth Heritage Garden

 

Grant is one of nearly 900 to be awarded through the inaugural Darden Restaurant Community Grants Program

Mount-Olive-Cemetery-Historical-Preservation-SocietyClarksville, TN – Mt Olive Historical Preservation Society has received a $2000 grant as part of the inaugural Restaurant Community Grant Program from the Darden Foundation, the charitable arm of Darden Restaurants Inc.

The Restaurant Community Grant Program is a local grants program intended to help support nonprofit organizations in the hundreds of communities Darden and its restaurant brands serve. The donation will enable Mt Olive Society’s Brandon Hill Youth Heritage Garden program to reach scores of young people in the Montgomery County community.
