Nashville, TN – Following a seven-week jury trial in U.S. District Court earlier this year, a federal jury convicted five members of the Gangster Disciples of multiple counts relating to a racketeering conspiracy and a drug distribution conspiracy, which plagued the Clarksville, Tennessee area with violence and murders for more than a decade, announced U.S. Attorney Don Cochran for the Middle District of Tennessee and Assistant Attorney General Brian A. Benczkowski of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division.
Marcus Termaine Darden, aka, “Tuff,” 41, and Elance Justin Lucas, aka, “Mac Luke,” 30, both of Guthrie, Kentucky; Derrick Lamar Kilgore, aka, “Smut,” 35, and DeCarlos Titington, aka, “Los,” 44, both of Clarksville, Tennessee, were convicted at trial.
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police have identified and secured a Robbery Warrant for the man responsible for robbing an 81 year old woman in Clarksville. The police’s investigation lead to Timothy Howell being identified as the man who committed the robbery.
Howell is already in custody after being arrested for committing a robbery at Almaville Market near Smyrna on Friday, January 19th, 2018 around 7:45pm.
Nashville, TN – An investigation by Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and other Middle Tennessee law enforcement agencies into the distribution of fake Percocet pills has resulted in the arrest of a Murfreesboro man.
TBI Special Agents with the Drug Investigation Division joined detectives with the Murfreesboro Police Department, the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office and the Drug Enforcement Administration, in tracking the source of pills that have contributed to multiple drugs overdoses that have occurred in the Murfreesboro area in the past week.

Nashville, TN – An investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has resulted in the indictment and arrest of a Rutherford County man charged with Solicitation of Especially Aggravated Sexual Exploitation of a Minor and Solicitation of Statutory Rape of a Minor.
TBI Special Agents began an investigation on February 26th, acting on information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that an adult male was having ongoing sexual conversations through 2013 with a 14-year old through Facebook Chat.
Tennessee Bureau of Investigation case leads to Indictments for Murfreesboro Man accused of pointing Shotgun at Deputies
Nashville, TN – Agents from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation have obtained indictments for a Rutherford County man accused of pointing a weapon at two Sheriff’s deputies.
At the request of then-16th District Attorney General Bill Whitesell, TBI Special Agents began investigating the May 6th officer-involved shooting of Jeffery T. Newton. Earlier that day, Newton’s wife placed a 911 call, stating her husband had a gun and threatened to take his life in the woods behind their Murfreesboro home.

At approximately 1:00 Eastern this morning, U.S. Marshals with the Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Cashman Jamar Perkins in Columbus, Mississippi. At the time of his arrest, the Chattanooga man was with a female acquaintance, whom investigators believe he visited in an attempt to elude authorities.

Cashman Jamar Perkins is wanted by the Chattanooga Police Department and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation for Criminal Homicide, Aggravated Domestic Assault and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.
Tennessee Highway Patrol arrests Man after Hit and Run Accident involving Six Year Old Child in Rutherford County
Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Highway Patrol arrested a Murfreesboro man on Sunday night after a hit-and-run incident involving a six-year old child in Smyrna.
Jan Kevin Cooley, 52, was charged with aggravated vehicular assault, leaving the scene of an injury crash, driving on a revoked driver’s license and possession of drug paraphernalia.
