Tennessee Volunteers - UT VolsColumbia, MO – The seventh-ranked Tennessee men’s basketball team opens up conference play and leaves Knoxville for the first time this season when it travels to No. 12 Missouri for a Wednesday night, December 20th, 2020 bout. Tipoff from Mizzou Arena is slated for 8:00pm CT on SEC Network.

For more than a dozen years, Uplifting Athletes has celebrated leaders in college football that have made a positive and lasting impact on the Rare Disease Community through its Rare Disease Champion initiative.

On the field, he’s a box truck with legs, a 5-9, 285-pound mountain of a man who broke out in a big way in 2019 as a key member of the interior line for an Austin Peay State University program that won its first Ohio Valley Conference title since 1977.

Instant Peay Play: With APSU Football season’s close, Govs fans now turn full attention to Basketball

 

Instant Peay Play - APSU SportsClarksville, TN – With the Austin Peay State University (APSU) football team seeing it’s historic and magical season come to an end this past Friday, in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Football Championship Division postseason tournament, Governors fans will now turn their full attention to basketball as Ohio Valley Conference play looms right around the corner.

Just two and a half weeks, and a hand full of games, remain for the APSU Govs men’s and women’s basketball teams before the start of OVC play, with the men’s team currently owning a 4-5 overall record, while the women’s team has posted a 6-2 overall mark to this point in the season.
