Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH)Fort Campbell, KY – The Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH) Military Retiree Health Fair is Saturday, June 19th, 2021 from 11:00am to 2:00pm at Fort Campbell’s Soldier Support Center in Building 2702.

The previously held in the fall, Retiree Appreciation Day now occurs in June and coincides with the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) Week of the Eagles. BACH joins more than 20 other agencies supporting the day’s activities.

BACH Emergency Center, labor and delivery, inpatient services, and supporting emergency services remain open 24/7.

BACH announces Air Assault Family Medical Home to return to original location, June 1st

Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH)Fort Campbell, KY – The Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH) Air Assault Family Medical Home, the hospital’s largest family primary care clinic, returns to its original location within the hospital’s C Building, June 1st.

Since March 2020, the Air Assault Family Medical Home has operated out of Byrd Soldier and Family Medical Home, near Gate 10, as the hospital took precautionary measures to minimize the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic’s impact on the Fort Campbell community.

Blanchfield Army Community Hospital now offers COVID-19 vaccine to ages 12 and older

Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH)Fort Campbell, KY – Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH) now offers the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to children and teens ages 12 and older.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) expanded the emergency use authorization (EUA) for Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine to include children and teens ages 12 to 15.

“We are happy to be able to offer vaccines for our 12 to 15 year old beneficiaries,” said BACH commander Col. Patrick T. Birchfield. “The FDA has issued EUAs for the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines being administered at Blanchfield. These vaccines have gone through extensive clinical testing with tens of thousands of study volunteers.”

Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH)Fort Campbell, KY – Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH) is offering a Saturday COVID-19 Coronavirus vaccination day to all TRICARE beneficiaries ages 16 and older, May 1st, 2021.

Minors ages 16 and 17 need a parent or legal guardian to accompany them at the vaccination site to sign the required vaccination paperwork. No other visitors should accompany anyone receiving the vaccine unless a medical attendant is required; however, couples may schedule individual appointments during the same time block.

Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH)Fort Campbell, KY – Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH) is now offering COVID-19 Coronavirus vaccination to all TRICARE eligible beneficiaries age 16 and older.

Family members and retirees in Tier 2 COVID-19 vaccine category may access the appointment schedule through a link on the hospital’s webpage at https://blanchfield.tricare.mil to book a COVID-19 vaccine appointment.

They will need to enter their DOD ID number, first and last name, and contact information, including an email address when they sign up online. The DOD ID number can be found on the military, dependent, and most retiree ID cards. Vaccine appointments for active-duty Soldiers are scheduled through their unit.

Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH)Fort Campbell, KY – Beginning April 5th, 2021, the Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH) COVID-19 telephone triage line hours will change.
The new COVID-19 telephone triage hours will be 7:45am to 3:45pm daily, aligning weekend and holiday hours with weekday hours.

“With COVID vaccine efforts in place and demand for COVID-testing decreasing, we are confident in changing our COVID appointment triage line hours,” said Lt. Col. Domenick Nardi, BACH’s chief of primary care. “This enables our medical support resources to realign and refocus their efforts to the primary care wellness mission.”

Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH)Fort Campbell, KY – On November 18th and 19th, 2020, Military healthcare beneficiaries age six months and older can receive a no-cost influenza vaccination at a drive-up clinic on Fort Campbell Kentucky.

The drive-up clinic, operated by Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH) personnel, is located at Building 7141, the Shadow Logistics and Repair Facility on Black Sheep Run between B Avenue and C Avenue. It is across from Hangar 3. Clinic hours are 7:30am to 3:30pm.
