Historic Dog Hill Neighborhood to hold annual Luminary Event, Saturday

 

Candle BurningClarksville, TN – On the evening of Saturday, December 21st, 2019, the residents of Dog Hill Historic District in Downtown Clarksville will hold the Annual Illuminating Dog Hill holiday event.

The public is invited to visit the district and enjoy the candlelit luminaries which the residents of Dog Hill will have on display from 5:00pm-7:00pm. The Dog Hill Historic District includes the area of Munford Avenue, First Street, Union Street, Madison Street and Second Street.

Rivers and Spires to affect Clarksville Transit Center, streets

 

Festival dominates downtown Thursday-Saturday

Clarksville Transit System - CTSClarksville, TN – Clarksville Transit Center will temporarily relocate its operations, and several downtown streets will close during the Rivers and Spires Festival, a music, arts and entertainment event that unfolds April 20th-22nd, 2017 in Clarksville.

CTS, which provides nearly one million rides a year, will use an alternate staging area for its Legion Street Transit Center on Friday and Saturday.

First Baptist Church St. Bethlehem Hosts Spur Trail Clean Up Day

 

Montgomery County Government TennesseeMontgomery County, TN – The Montgomery County Parks and Recreation Department would like to thank the youth group from First Baptist Church St. Bethlehem for recently conducting a cleanup day at the Spur Line Trailhead Park.

This group spent the day trimming shrubs, mulching, cleaning out flower beds and planting new flowers.

Clarksville Rivers and Spires FestivalClarksville, TN – Road closures for this week have been announced for the 14th Annual Rivers & Spires Festival in downtown Clarksville.

The Rivers & Spires Festival takes place April 14th-16th in downtown Clarksville. It is free and open to the public. The Festival features five stages of music and entertainment, arts and crafts, marketplace, food vendors and activities for all ages.

Clarksville Gas and Water announces Union Street Water Outage and Road Closure Planned

 

Thursday, June 4th, 2015

Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has scheduled a water outage and road closure on Union Street from South Third Street to Cooper Place at 10:30am on Thursday, June 4th, 2015, for water valve replacement. Area residents may also experience low water pressure during the work.

The work is anticipated to be finished and water service restored and the road reopened by approximately 1:30pm.
