Nashville out shot their opponent, 48-23, but couldn’t find the back of the net against Jacob Markstrom in goal for the Canucks. Pekka Rinne was pulled by the Predators to start the third period in favor of Juuse Saros, who held Vancouver scoreless in the final frame. Nashville Predators dominate the Detroit Red Wings 6-1
The Red Wings have had Nashville’s number, winning 10 of the last 11 meetings between the two teams, but tonight, the Predators were able to chase starting goalie Jimmy Howard with a flurry of goals in the second period. Detroit got on the board first at 2:35 of the opening period when Andreas Althanasiou took a pass from Filip Hronek to beat Pekka Rinne on the short side for the early 1-0 lead. Nashville Predators defeat the Vancouver Canucks in overtime thriller 4-3
It was a bit of sweet revenge for the Predators after the beatdown they suffered in Vancouver last week. Nashville is still working their way through the injury bug with Viktor Arvidsson and P.K Subban still unavailable. Nashville Predators snap losing streak to defeat Ottawa Senators 3-1
The win in front of a noisy “Smashville” home crowd, was a much needed shot in the arm following two losses last week to Vancouver and Calgary. The injury plagued Predators have been finding ways to win without P.K Subban, Viktor Arvidsson and Kyle Turris, all on the injury list. Ottawa scored first, just twenty six seconds into the contest on a mishandled shot by Pekka Rinne. Nashville Predators beat Winnipeg Jets 6-5
Hartman was acquired on Monday, from the Chicago Blackhawks, and was playing in his debut game with Nashville.
