Craig Smith put the Predators up 1-0 on a backhander that beat Wild starting goalie, Alex Stalock, with assists from P.K Subban and Ryan Johansen. Nashville Predators break losing streak in shootout win over the Minnesota Wild 2-1
With the win, Nashville extends their NHL points lead to 109 points. The Predators were anxious to break the streak they were on and to avenge the loss on Saturday night to Minnesota, 4-1. Roman Josi got the Predators off to an early 1-0 lead at 2:51 of the first period. Nashville Predators drop 2nd game in a row with loss to the Minnesota Wild 4-1
This is the first game of a back-to-back, as they travel to Winnipeg for a matchup with the Jets tomorrow night. The Jets have won their last four games and are in search of 100 points. Nashville got off to a good start as Ryan Johansen put the Preds on the board first, scoring at 8:37 of the first period. He fired a blast from the left circle, then took the rebound off of goalie Devan Dubnyk for the 1-0 lead. What first appeared to be the beginning of a routine of lounging on the deck has turned out to be a much less predictable lifestyle for this cat. Let me see if I can reconstruct this.
