APSU Women's GolfClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University women’s golf looks to keep its momentum up as it prepares for its second tournament this week, traveling to Rock Hill, South Carolina for the Winthrop Intercollegiate.

The two-day, 36-hole event begins with a 9:30am (CT) shotgun start at Rock Hill Country Club.

APSU Men's GolfClarksville, TN – After a well-earned respite, Austin Peay State University men’s golf returns to action Monday morning at the Country Club of Sapphire Valley in the Hummingbird Intercollegiate, hosted by Western Carolina.

The prestigious event features 13 teams and 87 golfers overall and brings together some of the finest programs from around the southeast.

This will be Austin Peay’s third consecutive year venturing to Spartanburg for the Terrier’s spring home event, held annually since 1988.

Tennessee Vols Basketball rolls over Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets 81-58

Tennessee Volunteers - UT VolsKnoxville, TNGrant Williams and Shembari Phillips scored 14 points each to lead Tennessee to an 81-58 victory over Georgia Tech on Saturday at Thompson-Boling Arena.

The Vols (3-3) were efficient, shooting 52.8 percent from the floor and 54.5 percent (6-of-11) from 3-point range. UT also made 19 of 24 free throws and out-rebounded Georgia Tech (4-3), 37-31.

Tennessee limited Georgia Tech to just 32.7 percent shooting, marking the Vols’ best defensive effort of the season.

APSU Men's Golf - Austin Peay State UniversitySpartanburg, SC – Austin Peay State University men’s golf team shot a final-round 299, Tuesday, to finish 13th in the 28th Annual Coca-Cola Wofford Invitational, played at The Club of Spartanburg.

The Governors battled bogey issues early before settling down to regain some footing midway through the round.

APSU Men's Golf - Austin Peay State UniversitySpartanburg, SC – With the Ohio Valley Conference tournament just around the corner, Austin Peay State University men’s golf team will play one final regular-season event when it returns to The Country Club of Spartanburg to participate in the 28th Annual Coca-Cola Wofford Invitational, Monday and Tuesday.

This is the second straight year the Govs have participated in the Wofford-hosted event. They tied for sixth last year.

UT Vols Basketball gets rolled 84-58 at South Carolina Gamecocks

Tennessee Volunteers - UT VolsColumbia, SC Behind an offensive showcase and dominant night in the paint, South Carolina avoided a regular season sweep, defeating Tennessee 84-58 Wednesday night at Colonial Life Arena.

South Carolina’s 42-14 advantage in the paint gave the Gamecocks (23-5, 10-5 SEC) their most conference wins since 2009, while Tennessee (13-15, 6-9 SEC) continued its struggles away from home.

Devon Baulkman paced the Vols with 19 points, going 7-of-15 from the field and 5-of-10 from the 3-point line. His seven made field goals tied a career high. Shembari Phillips scored 16, while Armani Moore added 10. South Carolina’s Duane Notice led the Gamecocks in scoring with 17 points.
