APSU Sports Information: APSU Golf
Lexington, KY – Sophomore Anthony Bradley shot par twice and has Austin Peay State University men’s golf team in third place with a two-round 589 at Kentucky’s UK Bluegrass Fall Invitational.
Bradley’s two-round 142 (71-71) has him fourth place, individually. Junior Dustin Korte fired a one-under par 70 in the second round for a two-round 147, which has him t-15th. Sophomore Trey Tarpley is two shots behind Korte with a 149, followed by sophomore Marco Iten at 152 and senior Drew Miller at 154.

The Big Blue Course played tough during the first round, as the Govs finished with a 300, good enough for sixth. They posted an 11 shot improvement in the second round for a 289 to move up to third. Austin Peay is now set to play in the tournament’s final pairing with host Kentucky and Dayton.
Austin Peay’s two-round 589 is 12 strokes behind Kentucky, who leads the pack with a 577. Dayton is three strokes ahead of APSU in second with a 580. Marshall (590) and Eastern Kentucky (592) round out the top five. Bradley is only two shots off individual leader Andrew Steffensmeier, of Dayton, who shot 71-69=140
As for other OVC schools, UT Martin is 11th with a two-round 604, leading Morehead State in 12th by two strokes. Murray State, meanwhile, is 14th after a two-round 618.
