Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan announces Jimmy Smith to assist until new Chief of Staff is appointed

Clarksville, TN – This morning, Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan announced that Jimmy Smith has agreed to assist her, on an as-needed basis, with some of the duties previously handled by Charlie Koon.

“Jimmy is the longest serving Department Head, has been with the City for many years and will continue to serve as the Transportation Director,” stated McMilan. “As you may have read in the press, I am evaluating the Chief of Staff position and will make a determination about how best to proceed in the near future. In the meantime, I appreciate Jimmy’s willingness to step in and assist.”
