Clarksville, TN – On Friday, May 22nd, 2015, Montgomery Central High School held their 75th Graduation Ceremony at Austin Peay State University’s Dunn Center. It began at 4:00pm.
221 students walked the line and receive their diplomas. Class Valedictorian was Allison Schmittou and Lauren Tucker was Salutatorian.
“I have several students all with individual stories that have just really overcome obstacles to get here, be at graduation and be receiving a diploma. It’s just a testament to their perseverance and dedication,” said Houston.
“It is bitter sweet see them graduate. But, you know their prepared to go on and do good things. They will always be a Central Indian. So, it’s more happiness than sadness,” Houston commented. “It’s always one of my favorite days of the year. Because it is very rewarding to see what students can accomplish.”
