Northeast Middle School Principal Evan Stinson, joined Blanchfield Army Community Hospital Partners in Education representatives Sgt. Ashley Gardner, Sgt. 1st Class Jamie Hendzel, and Staff Sgt. Sierra Brown in accepting the 2022 Boots on the Ground award from Clarksville-Montgomery County Education Foundation Chairman Jo Dee Wright, during an appreciation breakfast in Clarksville, Tennessee, Aug. 30. The foundation presents the annual Boots on the Ground award to the top military unit or veteran group participating in its Partners in Education program, which matches local businesses and organizations with schools in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System. Blanchfield Army Community Hospital’s former Partner in Education coordinator, Sgt. 1st Class Jamie Hendzel, displays the 2022 Partners in Education Boots on the Ground Award at the annual Clarksville-Montgomery County Education Foundation and Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce Partners in Education Appreciation Breakfast in Clarksville, Tennessee, Aug. 30. Hendzel recently transferred to a line unit with 101st Airborne Division’s 2nd Brigade Combat Team, but was able to attend the breakfast and join BACH’s new PIE coordinator, Staff Sgt.
