Clarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports a Springfield man has been charged with attempted criminal homicide and theft of property in connection to a carjacking that occurred on July 16th, 2018 on Zinc Plant Road.
The victim of that carjacking observed Jonathan Trent Rippie, 20, walking on the side of the road and provided him a ride. When the victim stopped at friend’s house and exited the vehicle, Rippie moved to the driver’s seat.
The victim attempted to stop Rippie from stealing vehicle. Rippie used the vehicle to strike the victim a total of three times ultimately driving over him.

Nashville, TN – A fugitive who was added to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s Top 10 Most Wanted list over the weekend is now in custody after being captured in Davidson County.
William Barnard Hawk (DOB 05/12/1968) was taken into custody at the Walmart parking lot on Powell Avenue in Nashville Monday afternoon. Several law enforcement agencies provided assistance during the apprehension, including TBI, Metro Nashville Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service Middle Tennessee Joint Fugitive Task Force.

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) has a new addition to its ‘Top 10 Most Wanted’ list: William Barnard Hawk, of Fayetteville.
Hawk (DOB 5-12-68) is wanted by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department and TBI to face a charge of Attempted Criminal Homicide in connection to an incident that occurred in the Park City area earlier today. Hawk should be considered armed and dangerous.
Clarksville, TN – Investigators with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office have arrested a man in connection to a shooting that occurred at D 6, formally Dynamic 6, on Walnut Grove Road.
Robert Devon Eastland, 41, entered the establishment shortly before 2:00am early Sunday morning, April 22nd, 2018 to confront his girlfriend. When he started to assault her a fellow patron intervened. Eastland pulled a gun from his pocket and fired three rounds at the patron.
Nashville, TN – A Clarksville man who was added to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s Top Ten Most Wanted list Wednesday afternoon is now in custody in Hardeman County.
Darcell Dominique Wright, who also goes by the name Robert Jackson, was taken into custody just before midnight the evening of November 18th, 2015.
Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has a new addition to the state’s Top Ten Most Wanted list, Darcell Dominique Wright of Clarksville, TN.
Wright, who also goes by the name Robert Jackson, is wanted by the Clarksville Police Department and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation for Attempted Criminal Homicide.
On May 22nd, Wright allegedly brandished a handgun and fired multiple shots into an SUV occupied by an adult male and two minor children.
Clarksville, TN – On September 24th, 2012 Clarksville Police responded to a shooting in the Barkwood Drive Area. Officers found that the shooting was over an argument about a two year old taking a balloon from a house that was going to be shown by a realtor. The suspects fled the area.
On September 25th, 2012, around 3:45pm, James Antonio Bagwell turned himself in to the Montgomery County Jail.
Police Looking for Suspect
Clarksville, TN – On September 24th, 2012, around 5:30pm, Clarksville Police Officers responded to a shooting in progress call in the Barkwood Drive area.
When officers arrived on scene, the shooting suspects had already fled from the area in an older model light gray Ford Thunderbird. The 41 year old female and 24 year old male victims were still at the scene, unharmed.
Tennessee Bureau of Investigation charges Huntsville Man with Attempted Criminal Homicide after Incident with Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper
Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation today charged a Huntsville, AL man with one count of attempted criminal homicide and one count of evading arrest after a Tennessee Highway Patrol trooper made a traffic stop late last night in Marshall County which resulted in an officer involved shooting.
Walter Lee Hicks, Jr., 52, of Mastin Lake Road in Huntsville, AL was stopped by a trooper along Highway 431 South and failed to produce a driver’s license and gave a false name. While the trooper was attempting to arrest Hicks, Hicks fled in the vehicle dragging the trooper and the trooper fired his weapon hitting Hicks in the arm.
