Clarksville Police report Emergency Responders rescued Mother and her Baby after they fell through a Storm GrateClarksville Police Department
A woman was walking through a parking lot carrying her baby, walked across a storm grate and, for an unknown reason, it gave way. The woman and baby fell approximately 20 feet into the storm drain and came to rest at the bottom. Clarksville Parks and Recreation to take part in Summer Food Service ProgramMeals to be served at Summer Youth Program sites
At 14 of the 15 program sites (all sites excluding Crow Recreation Center) meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, and reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service (not all prohibited bases apply to all programs).

City of Clarksville tackles traffic troubles around Rossview schools
Construction of the $800 million Hankook Tire facility on the north side of Interstate 24 and the related project to widen and rebuild the Exit 8 interchange to serve the plant have worsened school traffic problems. ![]() A school crossing guard controls morning traffic movements at the entrance to Rossview High School. Motorists attempting to turn left into the school from Rossview Road contribute to the traffic jam around the three-school Rossview campus.
