Clarksville, TN – Tre’ Ivory will join the ranks of former Austin Peay State University men’s basketball players who have gone on to pro careers when the Louisville native suits up with Phoenix Hagen of the German ProA League.
The Ohio Valley Conference has long been a league that Phoenix Hagen has picked from—Belmont’s J.J. Mann was a recent signing and this year, the club—located on the outskirts of Dortmund—went to the well twice with the additions of Ivory and former SIU Edwardsville guard Kris Davis.

Back-to-back overtime losses against Northwestern and Maryland have made for a busy December for the Fighting Illini.
Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University held its Spring Commencement ceremonies, May 8th at the Dunn Center, with 43 Governors and Lady Govs athletes not only picking up their respective degrees, but also leaving a legacy of success during their time on campus.
The 42 graduating athletes represented 12 of 14 teams at Austin Peay, with only the women’s cross country and tennis teams not having any team member graduate this spring.

Cape Girardeau, MO – Southeast Missouri converted 14 three pointers and dominated the boards as it rolled past Austin Peay State University, 89-65, Saturday night, in OVC final regular-season action in the Show Me Center.

Cape Girardeau, MO – Austin Peay will close out the 2014-15 season when it travels to Southeast Missouri for a 6:00pm, Saturday, Ohio Valley Conference contest at the Show Me Center.
The contest will have little on the line for both teams. The Governors were eliminated from the OVC tourney race a week ago and SEMO earned the final spot in the OVC tournament, Thursday, without even playing.

Clarksville, TN – On Senior Night, Austin Peay State University’s senior class rose to the occasion.
Forward Chris Freeman scored a career-high 24 points while Damarius Smith produced the go-ahead bucket with 40 seconds left and Ed Dyson sealed the contest in the closing seconds with free throws as Austin Peay defeated SIU Edwardsville, 64-61, Thursday night, in Ohio Valley Conference action in Dave Aaron Arena.

Austin Peay men’s basketball team rallies from a large second-half deficit, gets within striking distance, but is unable to pull off the come-from-behind victory.
That is what happened Monday night. The Govs rallied from a 13-point second-half deficit but could not find the offensive answers in the end as it fell to Eastern Kentucky, 76-64, the defending Ohio Valley Conference tournament champions, in Paul McBrayer Arena.
