APSU FootballClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University (APSU) football kicker Grant Paulette booted a 33-yard field goal with two seconds remaining, sending the Governors into jubilation on the home sideline of Fortera Stadium after the Govs secured a 34-31 win against 13th-ranked Murray State, Saturday.

APSU Football quarterback Draylen Ellis named STATS FCS National Freshman of the Week

 

APSU FootballClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University (APSU) football freshman quarterback Draylen Ellis has been named the STATS FCS National Freshman of the Week.

Ellis set a school record with six touchdown passes in APSU’s wild 49-42 double-overtime victory at Southeast Missouri.

APSU Football downs Tennessee State at Fortera Stadium, 27-20

 

APSU FootballClarksville, TN – The first win of the Scotty Walden era is in the books. And an eventful win it was.

The Govs used another outstanding defensive effort and an incredible early rushing performance by Brian Snead to fight through a first-half downpour and take down Tennessee State in a 27-20 Ohio Valley Conference victory from Fortera Stadium.
