Elkton KentuckyElkton, KY – The Elkton-Todd County Park will once again host the annual Independence Day Celebration and Fireworks Display on Sunday, July 3rd at Todd County Central High School located at 806 South Main Street in Elkton Kentucky.

Now in its 12th year, the annual fireworks spectacular is sponsored by generous donations from BR Knuckles Insurance and Heritage Bank, drawing spectators from across the county and surrounding area.

Hilltop Supermarket to host Spring Festival fundraiser for Kenai Langley

 

Hilltop SupermarketClarksville, TN – This Saturday, May 9th, Hilltop Supermarket is hosting “Karing for Kenai” Spring Festival. The Spring Festival is a fundraiser for 13-year old Kenai Payes Langley who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.

There will be a yard sale from 7:00am until 3:00pm. Hilltop is still taking donations that can be dropped off at the store anytime.

Fort Campbell's Morale, Welfare and Recreation - MWRFort Campbell, KY – One in four youth are alone and unsupervised after school. After school programs keep kids safe, help working Families and inspire learning.

Child, Youth and School Services (CYSS) Middle School and Teen Program invites you to attend a “Lights on After School” event and see what Taylor Youth Center has to offer.

You can come on October 9th from 12:00pm to 3:00pm or on October 16th from 12:00pm to 3:00pm.

Fallen Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputy David ‘Bubba’ Johnson to be honored with events Saturday, July 19th

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOMontgomery County, TN – Two back-to-back events will be held Saturday in honor of fallen Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Deputy David “Bubba” Johnson.

First, the Inaugural Bubba Johnson Memorial 5K Road Race begins at 8:30am Saturday, July 19th beginning at The Montgomery County Historic Courthouse, Clarksville, TN. There is also a 1-mile “fun run-walk” that will begin and end at Clarksville First Baptist Church.

Shadow of the Eagle volunteers for Fort Campbell’s Barclay Elementary Fall Festival

Fort Campbell, KY – Soldiers from 6th Battalion, 101st Combat Aviation Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), volunteered to help run Barclay Elementary’s Fall Festival at Fort Campbell, KY, October 25th, 2013.

The volunteering opportunity was to help the families who have children that attend Barclay Elementary enjoy the festival instead of running the events. The festival encompassed the entire school and included a basketball shootout, food, cotton candy, a disco, and a cake walk that soldiers from 6-101st CAB, Shadow of the Eagle, ran.
