Clarksville, TN – The 19th Judicial District Drug Task Force and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Crime Suppression Unit have arrested a man and two women on drug, weapons, and theft charges.
While carrying out a search warrant in the 2000 block of Broome Road, agents and deputies discovered 34 firearms, marijuana, assorted pills, drug paraphernalia, and more than 15 pounds of methamphetamine with a street value of approximately $190,000 dollars. Agents also recovered approximately $72,000 in cash during the course of their investigation.
Clarksville, TN – Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) investigators have arrested two suspects and searching for a third in connection to a shooting in the Dotsonville Community.
The incident occurred at the Smith Branch Boat Ramp on Tuesday, April 13th, 2021 at approximately 8:30pm. According to the victim, he was assaulted by three individuals and shot in the hand and forearm.
The victim was able to drive to a nearby residence to ask for assistance.
Clarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) would like to make the public aware of an increase in catalytic converter thefts in our area.
Thieves are targeting buses, box trucks, and pickup trucks throughout the county with the areas surrounding International Boulevard and Sango experiencing the highest amount of thefts.
The first theft was reported in December of last year and have continued through February. The thefts mainly occur between the hours of midnight and 4:00am. To date there have been 14 thefts in the county.
Clarksville, TN – Investigators with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) have arrested six men in connection to multiple trailer thefts that occurred in Montgomery County.
The thefts occurred in four different areas; Dover Road, Lafayette Road, Industrial Boulevard, and Oak Plains Road between December 2020 and January 2021. While investigating the trailer thefts an additional $90,000 in stolen property was also recovered. These items included stolen vehicles, ATVs, and other trailers that were stolen from Montgomery County, Davidson County, and Cheatham County in Tennessee and Trigg County, and Christian County in Kentucky.
Clarksville, TN – Investigators with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) have arrested a local contractor for theft.
James Coffee, 48, was arrested and charged with theft for taking $9,000 to build a storage building in April 2020 and never starting on it.
The victim also filed a complaint with the Tennessee Commerce and Insurance Division of Consumer Affairs.
The complaint met the requirements for contractor fraud.
Clarksville, TN – Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) reports that juvenile Nadia Serecer, age 15, was located in Nashville on November 25th, however her caretakers have reported her missing again.
Serecer was last seen on Monday December 14th, 2020. She may be wearing a black sweater and black sweat pants.
She could be traveling with a 19-year male named Aaron who drives a red Nissan Sentra. She is believed to be in the Clarksville or Nashville area.
Clarksville, TN – Investigators with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a shooting that occurred on July 10th, 2020 at approximately 10:30pm in the 1300 block of Gip Manning Road.
One male, 22, was transported to a local area hospital and is being treated for a single gunshot wound. He is currently in critical condition.
This was an isolated incident and there is not a threat to the public.
Clarksville, TN – Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office investigators are asking for the public’s assistance for any information in reference to several burglaries and vehicle theft involving a white car.
The incidents occurred in a neighborhood off of Hwy 41A and in a neighborhood off of Rossview Road on Monday, June 8th, 2020, between 2:00am and 06:00am.
Home security footage shows three males drive up in a white vehicle, approach several vehicles in the neighborhood checking for unlocked doors in the Rossview area.
Clarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred at a construction site in the Dotsonville area.
Units were dispatched to the intersection of Reda Drive and Allie Kay Way at approximately 2:20pm on Thursday, June 4th, 2020.
Upon arrival deputies and investigators discovered Christopher Bumpus, 42, deceased with a gunshot wound to his chest.
After speaking to witnesses, Richard Bernardo Nolton, 25, was taken into custody.
Clarksville, TN – Investigators with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a stolen vehicle.
The incident occurred in the 200 block of Browning Court on April 14th, 2020 at approximately 2:00am.
Home security footage shows two masked white males approach several vehicles in the driveway checking for unlocked doors. A blue 2017 Ford Fusion was unlocked with the keys left in the vehicle.
