Manna Café Ministries will Open Warming Center Sunday

 

Manna Café MinistriesClarksville, TN – As below-freezing temperatures are predicted next week, Manna Café Ministries will open its Emergency Warming Center at the Refuge Outreach Center, 503 D Street, Clarksville, TN, 37042 at Manna Village.

The center will be open from Sunday, November 29th, 2020 until Sunday, December 6th. Guests can check in beginning at 4:00pm each evening and will check out each day by 10:00am (to allow for thorough cleaning due to COVID-19 guidelines).

Manna Café Ministries to offer Basic Adulting Classes

 

Manna Café MinistriesClarksville, TN – Starting Thursday, August 20th, 2020, Manna Café Ministries will offer a new program called Basic Adulting Classes. The classes are scheduled to take place every Thursday at the Refuge Community Center, 503 D Street, Clarksville, Tennessee.

Participants may choose from two timeslots each Thursday: 9:00am–11:00am (includes brunch) or 6:00pm–8:00pm (includes dinner). This program will run from August 20th until November 5th and is free of charge to the community.

Manna Café MinistriesClarksville, TN – In continual response to Coronavirus (COVID-19), Manna Café Ministries has made several adjustments to their services. Says Director Kenny York, “Along with Manna Café Board of Directors and Staff, I am committed to continuing our services while also keeping clients, staff, and volunteers safe.”

“Our goal is to honor current guidelines while also remembering that many people have lost part or all of their income and need even more access to food, hygiene items, and so on,” stated York.

Manna Café Ministries to hold Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Refuge Community Center

 

Manna Café MinistriesClarksville, TN – Manna Café Ministries will host a ribbon cutting ceremony for its newly completed Refuge Community Center.

The ceremony will take place at 2:00pm on Thursday, March 5th, 2020 at 503 D Street.

The ceremony will be followed by an open house of the Refuge and the Manna Village until 6:00pm.

Water Outage and Partial Road Closure on Providence Boulevard

 

Thursday, August 12th, 7:00pm.

Clarksville Gas & Water DepartmentProvidence Boulevard will be closed to one lane of traffic from Oak Street to Peachers Mill Road beginning Thursday, August 12th, at 7:00pm to early Friday morning at 3:00am while Gas and Water construction workers replace two water valves near the intersection of Providence Boulevard and Powers Street.

This section of Providence Boulevard will be without water service during the repair work and will include E Street from the Boulevard to Oak Street and from Oak Street to D Street during the repair work.
