Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Mayor’s Fitness Council was recently awarded a $9,500 grant by The Clarksville-Montgomery County Community Health Foundation to further its Clarkswell movement.
The Mayor’s Fitness Council has established the unique Clarkswell brand to identify Clarksville as a healthier place to work and play. Through this community-wide effort, the MFC created the Clarkswell Workplace initiative designed for employers who seek to improve employee health.
Members of the Mayor’s Fitness Council are Greg Fryer, Anne Black, Robyn, Kocurek, Janet Haase, Jaclyn Beaty, Obee Obryant, Mayor Kim McMillan, Sarah Schwartz (Community Health Foundation) Dale Brown, Melissa Gomez, Brad Workman, David Davenport, and Bill Harpel. Fort Campbell, KY – Estep Wellness Center has released the October class schedule. A new month brings exciting changes.
Maximized Monday with Dr. Dale Brown has been changed to Saturday, October 25th at 10:45am and will be held following the “Believe & Choose Hope Boot Camp Challenge.” The subject this month is “Cancer Prevention/Save the Tatas.” This is a free seminar but registration is required.

Estep Wellness Center wants you to feel comfortable while you are there so they are now offering a free Fitness Orientation for patrons.
This orientation, led by Certified Personal Trainers, will introduce you to Estep while educating you on the proper usage of equipment and encouraging correct form to prevent injuries.

Fort Campbell, KY – First you said it was too cold, then it was too wet – no more excuses! Estep Wellness Center is holding Boot Camp Xpress – a shorter version of the traditional Boot Camp Xtreme. Boot Camp Xpress is only three weeks, nine sessions total but it is still an intense mix of the three major fundamentals of fitness: cardio, strength and agility.
Estep’s staff has built an amazing mini program that will invigorate your body and mind.
