U.S. Army expands program that aids Military Employees with Job Transfer Opportunities

 

U.S. ArmyRedstone Arsenal, AL – An installation employment transfer program is being expanded by the Army Materiel Command to provide Nonappropriated Funds employees better opportunities as they move with their Soldier or civilian through a career that demands mobility.

The NAF Child and Youth Services Employee Assignment Tool developed by the Army G-1 Civilian Personnel NAF Division – open only to employees working in child and youth programs at Army installations – is now the NAF Civilian Employment Assignment Tool – open to most employees working in NAF programs, which include the Army’s Family, Morale, Welfare and Recreation activities such as bowling centers, libraries, gyms and leisure travel offices as well as child and youth services.

Fort Campbell Morale Welfare and Recreation continues Supporting Soldiers, Families, Civilians

 

Fort Campbell's Morale, Welfare and Recreation - MWRFort Campbell, KY – The staff of Morale, Welfare and Recreation remain determined to do as much as they can to continue their mission of supporting Fort Campbell’s Army Family during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Following COVID-19 Coronavirus protocols of social distancing, MWR facilities were closed to slow the spread of the virus. Through innovation, the staff created ways to engage Families at the Robert F. Sink Memorial Library with craft giveaways and serve patrons their favorites dishes from on-post eateries with a new service called MWR to Go.

Annual Fort Campbell Tree Lighting Ceremony set for Friday

 

Fort Campbell KY - 101st Airborne DivisionFort Campbell, KY – On Friday, December 6th, 2019, the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and Fort Campbell Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation will host the Annual Division Tree Lighting Ceremony to kick off the holiday season. The ceremony will begin at 5:30pm.

The ceremony will include holiday music from the 101st Airborne Division Band, season’s greetings from Fort Campbell and 101st Airborne Division leadership, caroling, holiday activities, a surprise visitor from the North Pole and more.

Fort Campbell Celebrates Independence Day

 

Fort Campbell's Morale, Welfare and Recreation - MWRFort Campbell, KY – Fort Campbell’s office of Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) once again helped area families celebrate July 4th in style, with the return of its ever-popular Independence Week Carnival, July 2nd–6th, which includes a special concert and fireworks display on Independence day.

The event, which is free and open to the public, was staged on Fort Campbell’s Division Parade Field. Thousands were in attendance on July 4th, a day that saw storms early, but clear weather for the evening’s concerts and fireworks.

Fort Campbell to hold Independence Week Carnival, Concert and Fireworks to be held July 2nd-6th

 

Fort Campbell KY - 101st Airborne DivisionFort Campbell, KY – On June 2nd through June 6th, an Independence Week Carnival will be hosted by the 101st Airborne Division and Fort Campbell Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation at the Fort Campbell Division Parade Field located at 47th Street and Desert Storm Avenue. The celebration includes an Independence Day ceremony, July 4th. The event is free to enter and open to the public.

Thursday, July 4th the carnival is open from 1:00pm to midnight. The 101st Airborne Division Band will open the evening of music at 5:00pm at the parade field followed by a welcome ceremony at 6:00pm Clayton Quisenberry hits the stage at 6:30pm.

Fort Campbell Soldiers, Families to Receive Christmas Trees from Trees for Troops

Fort Campbell KY - 101st Airborne DivisionFort Campbell, KY – Fort Campbell Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Program Fort Campbell Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS) are working with FedEx Freight to deliver approximately 500 live Christmas trees to Fort Campbell Soldiers as part of the Trees for Troops program.

Trees will be available Saturday, December 8th, 2018 from 9:30am until 1:30pm for junior enlisted Soldiers and 2:00pm-4:30pm for any active duty Soldiers, while supplies last. (Military ID Cards will be checked).

Fort Campbell Soldiers and Families to Receive Christmas Trees from Trees for Troops Program

 

Fort Campbell KY - 101st Airborne DivisionFort Campbell, KY – Active Duty Soldiers and their families will receive a special holiday delivery from FedEx on Saturday, December 2nd, 2017. FedEx Freight will deliver more than 300 live Christmas trees to help service members and their families celebrate the holidays.

Fort Campbell Better Opportunity for Single Soldiers and the Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation, will host the 2017 Trees For Troops initiative. Trees will be available at the Division Parade Field parking lot on a first come first served basis from 9:30am to 1:30pm for junior enlisted and 2:00pm to 4:30pm for any Active Duty Soldiers.
