Montgomery County Clerk’s Office announces Update to Services

 

Montgomery County Government TennesseeMontgomery County, TN – The Montgomery County Clerk’s Office is informing citizens that expiration dates for vehicle registrations have been extended for those that expire in March and April.

Based on Tennessee Governor Bill Lee’s Executive Order, registration renewal expirations, temporary operating permits as well as disabled placard renewals that would have been renewed in March or April, have now been extended until June 15th, 2020.

TWRA announces Tennessee Free Fishing Day is Saturday, June 7th, 2014

 

Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency - TWRANashville, TN – Tennessee’s annual Free Fishing Day is Saturday, June 7th when anyone may fish free without a license in the state’s public waters.

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency provides the free day in hopes of increasing interest in fishing. The day allows anyone the opportunity to try this great outdoor sport, especially children. In addition, children ages 15 and younger may fish without a license beginning on Free Fishing Day through the following Friday (June 13th).

Morale, Welfare and RecreationFort Campbell, KY – If you haven’t tried out some of the Outdoor Recreation Adventure Programs yet – July is the perfect time to sign up! Outdoor Rec will start the month off with a King’s Bluff Climbing Trip on July 7th from 9:00am until 2:00pm.

Ages 12 and above are invited to participate and the cost is $35.00 per person; transportation and equipment are provided. King’s Bluff is some of the best climbing in middle Tennessee and is located just 15 minutes from post. Please bring appropriate clothing, water, snacks, and a packed lunch. Tennessee Wildlife Resources Commission approves 2012-13 Hunting Seasons

 

Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency - TWRANashville, TN – The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Commission set the state’s 2012-13 hunting seasons during its May meeting which concluded Friday at the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency Ray Bell Region II Building.

Among the changes, Tennessee sportsmen will see an increase in deer and bear harvest opportunities.

In regard to white-tailed deer hunting, the TWRC approved the TWRA’s proposal to increase the antlerless archery season bag limit in Unit B to four deer per season. «Read the rest of this article»

Clarification made for Unit B Muzzleloader Deer Hunting

 

Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency - TWRANashville, TN – The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is making a clarification to the muzzleloader bag limit for Unit B deer management counties.

The Unit B Muzzleloader Hunt Table on page 28 of the 2011 Tennessee Hunting and Trapping Guide indicates the bag limit is one deer. The table should read one antlerless deer per hunter. «Read the rest of this article»

TWRA Announces Addition of New Licenses

 

Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency - TWRANashville, TN – As approved earlier at a meeting of the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Commission, the addition of five licenses and an amendment to a trout fishing license specific to the city of Gatlinburg are now in effect.

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency has announced the addition of a Type 23 Resident 1-Day All Fish License. The cost for the Type 23 License is $11.00. The Resident 1-Day Fishing License (no trout) remains $5.50.

Fishing licenses for nonresidents have been added. A Type 82 Nonresident 1-Day Fishing (no trout) License can be purchased for $8.00. A Type 83 nonresident 1-Day All-Fish License is $16.00. The Type 97 Nonresident 1-Day Gatlinburg Trout permit has been changed to Resident or Nonresident 1-Day Gatlinburg Trout License. The cost of the license is $11.50. «Read the rest of this article»
