Blanchfield Army Community Hospital announces Young Eagle Medical Home to return to original location

Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH)Fort Campbell, KY – The Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH) Young Eagle Medical Home, the hospital’s pediatric clinic for patients ages birth through 17, returns to its original location within the hospital’s C Building, February 16th, 2021.

Since March, the pediatric clinic has operated out of Byrd Soldier and Family Medical Home, near Gate 10, as the hospital took precautionary measures to minimize the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic’s impact on the Fort Campbell community.

The C Entrance remains closed, however all patients with appointments to a medical service in the hospital’s B or C Buildings can enter the hospital through the double doors beside the Emergency Center entrance beginning Feb. 16 for easier access to their medical appointment. Blanchfield Army Community Hospital’s Gold Army Medical Home resumes services in the Hospital

Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH)Fort Campbell, KY – Beneficiaries assigned to Blanchfield Army Community Hospital’s Gold Army Medical Home will resume seeing their healthcare providers in their original clinic space located within the hospital’s “C” Building, 3rd Floor, November 30th.

All patients entering and departing the hospital should continue using the hospital’s “A” entrance. Since March, all family and retiree primary care services operating out of the hospital relocated to Byrd Soldier and Family Medical Home, near Gate 10.

Fort Campbell’s Gate 10 to Temporary Close, August 10th

 

Fort Campbell KY - 101st Airborne DivisionFort Campbell, KY – Fort Campbell Gate 10 and 101st Airborne Division Road, from William C. Lee Road to Jordan Springs Road, will be closed due to lane-widening and other construction activities starting August 10th, 2020.

The Fort Campbell Directorate of Public Works anticipates a 45-day temporary closure of Gate 10 to facilitate a timely execution of roadway improvements.

Included in the construction project are improvements on Gate 10 and full depth road resurfacing and reclamation.

On August 10th, Fort Campbell Gate 10 will be closed for lane widening and other construction. (Sam Shore)

Fort Campbell Warrior Transition Battalion Soldiers to complete a 101-mile rendezvous Bike Ride

 

Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH)Fort Campbell, KY – On September 27th, 2019, wounded, ill and injured Soldiers will participate in a 101-mile bike ride, “Where Heroes Rendezvous,” on Fort Campbell and in the surrounding communities.

More than 70 riders, including wounded, ill or injured Soldiers assigned to the Fort Campbell, Fort Stewart, Georgia, and Fort Benning, Georgia Warrior Transition Battalions, as well as cadre, veterans and volunteers will ride, sharing their support of WTB Soldiers along the route. The community can help cheer for riders as they ride past along the route.

You will find all of our yummy favorites on the buffet including several smoked meat selections!

The Smokehaus is located outside Gate 10 and is open and easily accessible to the public.

Reserved seating times are available at 10:00am, 11:30am and 1:00pm. Doors open at 10:00am.

Fort Campbell open for Limited Operations Tuesday, January 16th

 

Fort Campbell KY - 101st Airborne DivisionFort Campbell, KY – On Tuesday, January 16th, 2018,  the Senior Commander of Fort Campbell has authorized the installation to remain open for limited operations only. Mission Essential Personnel should report to work. DoDEA Schools are closed.

For questions regarding Mission Essential, Civilian employees contact your supervisors, Soldiers contact your unit Commander.

Gates 1, 4, 7, 10 will be the only gates open today, January 16th, due to Winter Weather Conditions.

The Commissary is closed.

Fort Campbell announces Increased Noise, Range Activity Expected During Upcoming Explosives Training

 

Fort Campbell KY - 101st Airborne DivisionFort Campbell, KY – Select units of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) will employ live Mine Clearing Line Charges (MICLIC) in the Fort Campbell training area August 25th-26th. These charges carry a high quantity of explosives and residents in and around Fort Campbell should expect increased noise and vibrations during this period.

Major impacts are expected August 25th between 10:00am and 4:00pm and August 26th between 11:00am and 5:00pm. The training and detonations will occur near Training Area 20, in the vicinity of Los Banos Drop Zone, south of Jordon Springs Road. This notice of significant range activity is provided as a courtesy for residents of neighboring communities.

Note: Young Eagle Medical Home previously offered school and sports physical appointments for August 8th, but that date has changed to August 15th.

Volunteers needed at Fort Campbell for Project Clean Streams

 

Fort Campbell's Morale, Welfare and Recreation - MWRFort Campbell, KY – Join the Environmental Division Stormwater Program on Friday, Apiril 17th, 2015 for a morning of fun and fresh air as volunteers to help clean trash and debris along the banks of Fort Campbell lakes and streams.

This beautification project is aimed to make our waterways cleaner, safer, and to reduce the adverse effects pollution has on our water quality.
