Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office investigating Medicine Shoppe Burglary

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in locating suspect(s) responsible for a burglary at a local pharmacy.

The burglary occurred at the Medicine Shoppe on Highway 48 sometime between 6:00pm on September 25th, 2019 and 6:00am on September 26th, 2019.

Forced entry was made through the front door. Prescription medication, including narcotics, and property were taken.

Central Civitan held their annual BBQ Chicken Dinner fundraiser, Saturday

 

The Civitan ClubCunningham, TN – It was overcast and looked like rain this past Saturday, April 27th for the Central Civitan annual BBQ Chicken Dinner fundraiser. The rain held off and it turned into a great day for the event.

“It looked like it might rain at first, but it didn’t. It was a nice cool day for our fundraiser,” stated Larry Pitts with Central Civitan.

The dinners were take home only and included a 1/2 chicken, with baked beans, slaw, and a beverage. Each adult plate was just $8.00. Pick up was at the Central Civitan building located between Hwy 13 and Alonzo Place in Cunningham, TN.

Clarksville-Montgomery County under Flash Flood Watch staring tonight through Saturday night

National Weather ServiceNashville, TN – The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Flash Flood Watch for Clarksville-Montgomery County and parts of Middle Tennessee that is in effect from Thursday night, February 21st, 2019 through Saturday evening, February 23rd.

Another storm system will bring waves of heavy rain across Clarksville-Montgomery County and Middle Tennessee starting tonight and continuing through Saturday night.

An additional 2-4 inches of rain with locally higher amounts are expected through Saturday night. Due to the recent excessive rain, soils are saturated and area rivers and creeks are full.
