Nashville, TN – This week’s preseason opener marks the seventh time the Tennessee Titans and Philadelphia Eagles have clashed in the preseason. They split the first six games 3-3.
During the regular season, the two clubs have met on 12 occasions.
The Eagles hold a 7-5 advantage, although the Titans have won five of the last six matchups, including the most recent game in 2018.

The Eagles hold a 7-4 advantage in the series, including a win in the most recent contest in 2014. That Philadelphia victory broke the Titans’ four-game winning streak over the Eagles.
The series dates back more than four decades, to when the two teams met on November 12th, 1972. The game was won by Philadelphia 18-17 at the Houston Astrodome. The Eagles would go on to win the next five games as well in the series from 1979-1994.
Tennessee Titans play Carolina Panthers Saturday afternoon at Nissan Stadium
Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans have played fewer games against the Carolina Panthers than any other NFL team. There have been just five regular season matchups and one preseason meeting (2010) since the Panthers began play as an expansion team in 1995.
The Titans won three consecutive regular season games in the series after losing the initial meeting, but the Panthers bounced back with a 27-10 win at Nissan Stadium in 2015.
In the only preseason game between the teams, the Panthers defeated the Titans 15-7 at Bank of America Stadium on August 28th, 2010.

This week’s game will be televised regionally on FOX, including Nashville affiliate WZTV FOX 17. Thom Brennaman will handle play-by-play duties alongside analyst Charles Davis with Tony Siragusa serving as an on-field analyst.

Fans are encouraged to participate in the LP PENCIL Box School Supply Drive at the game. LP PENCIL Box, a collaborative non-profit venture between PENCIL Foundation and LP Building Products, offers Nashville Metro teachers the opportunity to acquire school supplies for the city’s most in-need children.
Nashville, TN – The owner and founder of the Tennessee Titans – Houston Oilers K.S. “Bud” Adams, Jr. passed away Monday morning, October 21st, 2013, from natural causes at his home in Houston Texas.
Funeral information will be release sometime in the next few days.

Nashville, TN — The Tennessee Titans (1-1) play their third preseason game this week, traveling to Carolina to play the Panthers (0-2). Kickoff at Bank of America Stadium (capacity 73,504) is scheduled for 7:00pm CDT on Saturday, August 28th.
The Titans are challenged with a short work week, having just five days between their Monday night victory over the Arizona Cardinals and their rendezvous in Charlotte on Saturday night. On the Tuesday following the contest (August 31st), the Titans will be required to make their initial roster cuts, trimming the team from 80 players to 75.
