Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office would like to congratulate the Reserve Deputy Class of 2018 on their recent graduation.

John Bazzano, Timothy Cribbs, Joaquin Gomez Jr., Wade Hoelcel, Scott Lower, Kenneth Poindexter, and Lance Putnam were surrounded by family and friends as they were commissioned on June 14th, 2018 in a ceremony conducted by Chief Deputy John Smith.

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) hosted a retirement party for Sergeant Earl Mullins, Investigator Erle Crockarell, Caryn Janick, and Deputy Kay Neely on Friday, June 17th, 2016.

Montgomery County Sheriff John Fuson started the event with some words highlighting the dedication and honorable career of each employee.

Former Montgomery County Sheriff Chief Deputy Edgar Patterson passes away

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOMontgomery County, TN – Edgar Patterson, former Chief Deputy of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, who had been with the agency for nearly 40 years before retiring in 2012, died Thursday evening.

Patterson was commissioned with the MCSO in 1973 as a juvenile officer and was promoted through the ranks until he was appointed Chief Deputy in 1978, a position he held until his retirement.

Late Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputy David Johnson honored with Three Stars of Tennessee Award

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSONashville, TN – Late Deputy David “Bubba” Johnson was awarded the Three Stars of Tennessee Award this morning at the War Memorial Auditorium. Johnson’s wife, Jennifer and daughter, Shelby, accepted the award, and several members of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office were also in attendance.

Sheriff John Fuson nominated Deputy Johnson to receive this award earlier this year. His public safety career spanned three decades with Montgomery County EMS, Clarksville Police Department and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – His colleagues know him for his laid-back demeanor, his intimidating stature and his Barry White-esque voice on the radio, but mostly, they know Andy Lowery as one of the most professional Deputies they’ve ever worked with.

“He’s the most professional man I’ve had the pleasure of working with,” said Sgt. Robert Boone.

Clarksville Fire Rescue provides assistance to Saint Bethlehem Volunteer Fire Department in fighting RV fire on International Boulevard

 

Clarksville Fire RescueClarksville, TN – On April 12th, 2012 around 10:00am Steve West of Springfield Tennessee was driving a Recreational Vehicle south on International Boulevard when it burst into flames. He safely exited the vehicle and contacted emergency services.

Saint Bethlehem Volunteer Fire Department responded and began to attack the fire which was at that time fully engaged; the column of smoke could be seen from several miles away. Montgomery County EMS unit Medic 22 also dispatched to provide medical assistance if it was needed. Montgomery County Sheriff Deputies Sgt. Jimmy Brown and Lt. John Smith arrived and together secured both of the roads leading to the scene.

When they realized that the fire was larger than they were prepared to handle by themselves, they requested Mutual Aid from Clarksville Fire Rescue (CFR).

Winners Announced of the David Scott Memorial Top Gun Award

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – The 4th Annual David Scott Memorial Top Gun shooting competition sponsored by the Clarksville Police Union Award was held at the Clarksville Police Department’s range on October 19th, 2010. The competition is held in memory of Officer David Scott, Clarksville Police Department, that died in the line of duty on June 7th, 2002.

Officer Scott was the winner of the Top Gun event when he served as an officer on the Clarksville Police Department.
