Man charged in crash that killed Clarksville Street Department worker

 

City of ClarksvilleClarksville, TN – The driver of the tractor-trailer truck that struck and killed a Clarksville Street Department worker has been charged with criminally negligent homicide.

Paul Jeffrey Dunn, 63, of Greeneville, KY, was indicted by the Montgomery County Grand Jury in July. He is awaiting arraignment and trial after being arrested July 20th and released on $25,000 bond.

Four Gangster Disciples sentenced for Murders, Shootings, Drug Trafficking in Clarksville

Nashville, TN –  Following a seven-week jury trial in U.S. District Court earlier this year, a federal jury convicted five members of the Gangster Disciples of multiple counts relating to a racketeering conspiracy and a drug distribution conspiracy, which plagued the Clarksville, Tennessee area with violence and murders for more than a decade, announced U.S. Attorney Don Cochran for the Middle District of Tennessee and Assistant Attorney General Brian A. Benczkowski of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division.

Marcus Termaine Darden, aka, “Tuff,” 41, and Elance Justin Lucas, aka, “Mac Luke,” 30, both of Guthrie, Kentucky; Derrick Lamar Kilgore, aka, “Smut,” 35, and DeCarlos Titington, aka, “Los,” 44, both of Clarksville, Tennessee, were convicted at trial.

Clarksville Police locate Vehicle, Drive involved in Fatal Pedestrian Crash

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police have located the trailer and driver involved in the fatal pedestrian crash at Riverside Drive and College Street Tuesday night in Beechmont, KY. The crash occurred Tuesday morning, September 3rd, 2019.

An inspection of the trailer determined the trailer was involved in the fatal crash which occurred around 10:42am Riverside Drive and College Street.

Clarksville Police have tracked down the tractor trailer that stuck and killed a Clarksville Street Department employee Tuesday morning.

Clarksville Police release update on Man Who Bailed Out of Stolen Vehicle on Interstate 24

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department just received confirmation from another law enforcement agency the man who was in the stolen BMW on Interstate 24 and bailed out of the vehicle is James Pitts, age 19 who is supposedly from Hickman County, Tennessee.

Clarksville Police do not currently have any charges on Pitts. He does have a Violation of Probation warrant on file out of Hickman County.

Clarksville Police reports that the man who fled a stolen vehicle on Interstate 24 Sunday, James Pitts, is still at large.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office arrests Matias Dudley for Fatal Shooting on McGregor Road

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) investigators have arrested a man involved in a fatal shooting.

The incident occurred in the 4000 block of McGregor Road at approximately 6:18pm on Friday, February 1st, 2019.

Matias Dudley aka TEZ, 18, was taken into custody and charged with criminal homicide.

According to witnesses, the victim approached a vehicle Dudley was a passenger in when he opened fired.

Matias Dudley has been arrested by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office for the Friday night fatal shooting on McGregor Road.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports Social Media Threat not directed towards Montgomery Central High School

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports a juvenile who posted a threat on social media against Madison Central High School in Richmond, Kentucky has been taken into custody by Kentucky State Police.

The post, which referenced Madison Central High School as “MCHS” and “Central,” was mistaken for Montgomery Central High School in Montgomery County by several concerned citizens who shared the post Monday night.

Clarksville Police report Three Men in Custody for the Homicide of Antonio Henson

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On January 21st, 2017, around 2:54pm, Clarksville Police Officers responded to a shooting in progress in the area of Kellogg Street. When officers arrived, they found an adult male, Antonio Henson, 21, who had been shot multiple times. He was taken to Tennova Healthcare, where he was pronounced dead.

The Clarksville Police Department’s Homicide Unit, investigated the death with assistance from the Bowling Green Police Department, KY, Warren County Sheriff’s Office, KY, Todd County Sheriff’s Office, KY, Guthrie Police Department, KY, and Kentucky State Police.

Clarksville Police release Hands Across the Border DUI Checkpoint and Saturation Patrol stats

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On May 19th, 2017 between the hours of 8:00pm and 4:00am, the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Kentucky State Police, Christian County Sheriff’s Department, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Hopkinsville Police Department, Clarksville Police Department, and several other law enforcement agencies conducted a DUI Checkpoint/saturation patrol on US41-A near the State line.

Troopers, Deputies, and Officers were looking for impaired drivers and took enforcement action on any observed violation. During this time, there were 427 vehicles through the checkpoint.

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Friday, May 19th, 2017, the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Kentucky State Police, Christian County Sheriff’s Department, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Hopkinsville Police Department, and Clarksville Police Department will be conducting a Checkpoint on US41-A near the State line. 

Troopers, Deputies, and Officers will be looking for impaired drivers and will take enforcement action on any observed violation. Troopers, Deputies, and Officers will also be doing Saturation Patrols on US41-A, KY. State highways 400, 911, 115 and Tennessee State highway 236 & 374.
