Clarksville, TN – Investigators with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a shooting that occurred on July 10th, 2020 at approximately 10:30pm in the 1300 block of Gip Manning Road.
One male, 22, was transported to a local area hospital and is being treated for a single gunshot wound. He is currently in critical condition.
This was an isolated incident and there is not a threat to the public.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police are investigating a shooting which took place in the area of 83 Cedarcrest Drive on Saturday, March 23rd, 2019, around 6:30pm which left an 18 year old man paralyzed.
When officers arrived they found the 18 year old on the ground with a gunshot wound to the back. He was transported to Nashville by LifeFlight and is in stable condition.
Man Later Dies from his Injuries
Clarksville, TN – On September 18th, 2012, around 8:00pm, Clarksville Police responded to a shooting in progress the area of Reynolds Street and Dodd Street.
When Police arrived, they found a 50 year old man laying in the street with a handgun in his hand and had multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported by Lifeflight to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he later died from his injuries around 11:00pm.
Clarksville, TN – On September 6th, 2012, around 9:24am, Clarksville Police were called to the area in front of Kiddieland Day Nursery located at 207 Chapel Street, for a shooting in progress.
The nursery took immediate action to safeguard the children and employees that were all inside at the time of the shooting and took action to assist the shooting victims.
Officers arrived on scene in 3 minutes and found a 22 year old woman and a 25 year old man that had been shot.
Clarksville, TN – On August 30th, 2012, around 8:49am, Clarksville Police were called to 111 ½ Riverview Drive in reference to a man shot inside of the residence.
When officers arrived, they found a 24 year old man on the floor who had been shot in the neck, conscious and breathing. The man was taken to Vanderbilt by Lifeflight in stable condition.
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police are investigating an altercation which resulted in one man being taken to Vanderbilt by ambulance.
On August 14th, 2012, around 1:15pm, Police were called to Gateway Medical Center in reference to a 32 year old man who had sustained two gunshot wounds; one was a superficial wound to the head and the other wound was to the leg.
The 32 year old man was brought to the hospital by a friend in a privately owned vehicle. Police had to back track to find the location of the shooting since there were no shots fired calls received by 911.
Clarksville, TN – On July 14th, 2012, around 5:30pm, officers responded to a shots fired call at the apartments at 218 South 3rd Street.
When Clarksville Police Officers arrived they found a man, Gregory Erik Premus, 28, inside an apartment who had sustained a gunshot wound to the torso of the body, from a handgun. He was transported to Gateway Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. «Read the rest of this article»
Clarksville, TN – On April 29th, 2012, around 12:30am, Police were called to Victory Road in reference to a possible vehicle crash with injuries. A motorist stopped after he saw a vehicle which appeared to have run off the roadway.
He called Police when he could not awaken the man inside the vehicle. When officers arrived on Victory Road, they found a 22 year old man inside of a Subaru Impreza who was not responsive and had been shot.
Clarksville, TN – On April 28th, 2012, around 4:13am, the 911 center received multiple calls about a man being shot inside a private club at 1148 College Street.
When officers arrived on scene, there was a 27 year old man laying on the floor near the front entrance of the business. He had sustained a gunshot wound to the back.
Clarksville, TN – On April 25th, 2012, around 1:00am, 911 received calls about shots being fired in the Chapel Street area. Clarksville Police Officers in the area on another call for service also heard the shots being fired.
Officer Brian Coghill saw a vehicle near the intersection of Chapel and Locust Street rolling backward. There was a 26 old male partially out of the vehicle.
