Clarksville Police Department’s Pets on PAWtrol has 100% Adoption/Rescue

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Department’s Community Relations Unit’s partnership with Montgomery County Animal Care and Control and Ravenwood Coffee and Creations for “Pets on PAWtrol” had some pups howling with happiness.

Selections were made from Animal Care and Control’s plethora of animals to be featured as Pets on PAWtrol. Many of those chosen had been at the facility for a long period of time and were considered “at-risk”. The selections weren’t limited to dogs and cats. There was a rabbit, guinea pig, and ferret that found their forever home.

Montgomery County Animal Care and Control Hosts Annual Scotti Reif Superhero Adoption Event

 

Montgomery County Animal Care and ControlMontgomery County, TN – On Saturday, October 26th, 2019, Montgomery County Animal Care and Control (MCACC) will host its third annual superhero adoption event from 10:00am to 3:00pm at 616 North Spring Street in remembrance of Scotti Reif, son of MCACC employee Adria Reif.

Scotti was an avid animal lover who often helped his mom care for the cats and dogs at MCACC. Scotti passed away in August 2016. The adoption event is done to honor Scotti’s memory and help homeless pets find loving homes.

Montgomery County Animal Care and ControlClarksville, TN – It’s the Dog Days of Summer everyone and Montgomery County Animal Care and Control (MCACC) is ready to take five on the Catio! MCACC needs your help to make this summer awesome for all of our furry friends!

MCACC are waiving the $25.00 adoption fee on all pets through July 4th, 2019 ($50.00 Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Microchip not included). Hurry down this will not last long.

Montgomery County Animal Care and Control, Fort Campbell sign Intergovernmental Support Agreement

 

Montgomery County Government TennesseeMontgomery County, TN – Today, June 6th, 2019, the United States Army and Montgomery County Government signed an Intergovernmental Support Agreement (IGSA) at the 101st Airborne Division Headquarters rotunda, Fort Campbell, KY at 10:30am.

Under the IGSA, Montgomery County Animal Care and Control (MCACC) will take over operation of Fort Campbell’s Stray Animal Program.

Celebrate Memorial Day with Montgomery County Animal Care and Control

During this time adoption fees will be waived to all Gold Star Family Members and the microchip fee for all Active Duty Service Members, with identification, will be waived.

Montgomery County Animal Care and ControlMontgomery County, TN – Montgomery County Animal Care and Control (MCACC) received a $2,000 Petfinder ‘Nestle Purina New Year, New Home Pet Adoption Grant’ from the Petfinder Foundation this week.

The Petfinder ‘Nestle Purina New Year, New Home Pet Adoption Grant’ program is used to help subsidize pet adoptions with free or fee-reduced fees at Petfinder organizations that are awarded this grant.

Montgomery County Animal Care and Control to hold March Madness Adoption Fee Event

Montgomery County Animal Care and ControlMontgomery County, TN – Montgomery County Animal Care and Control’s (MCACC) March Madness Adoption Fee event is happening today through April 8th, 2019.

During this time, adoption fees are half price, for a total cost of only $12.50.

Additionally, the normal $8.00 adoption fee for the Lonely Hearts and Golden Whisker Club members will be waived. This special covers adoption fees only and does not include possible fees such as, microchip, rabies and spay/neuter charges.

Montgomery County Animal Care and ControlMontgomery County, TN – Montgomery County Animal Care and Control (MCACC) reminds all pet owners of Montgomery County of the importance of making sure pets are properly cared for during the winter months and during periods of freezing temperatures.

Unusually cold temperatures are expected this week, which can be dangerous and even fatal for pets left outdoors for extended periods of time. Just as freezing temps can be harmful and fatal for humans, the risks are just as dangerous for pets. If it’s too cold for people to be outside, then it’s too cold for pets.

Montgomery County Animal Care and ControlMontgomery County, TN – Montgomery County Animal Care and Control (MCACC) will require pet owners who want to surrender their pet to contact MCACC by phone to make an appointment before coming to the shelter starting September 1st, 2018.

This will allow staff members to contact and assist citizens with their owner release.

Proof of Residency, a Microchipping Fee and Appointments for Releases are all Part of the Montgomery County Animal Care and Control Changes.
