Montgomery County Cooperative Extension to host Free Summer Day Camp at Brandon Hill Garden

 

Junior Master GardenerClarksville, TN – On June 24th through June 28th, 2019, the Montgomery County Cooperative Extension’s 4-H and Master Gardener programs are teaming up to present a free day camp for children and teens. It will take place in Brandon Hill Heritage Youth Garden at 1202 Commerce Street in Clarksville.

Each morning, from 9:00am to noon, registered youths will learn about gardening and nature by participating in fun lessons and activities. Participants who attend throughout the week will earn Junior Master Gardener certificates.

Montgomery County Master GardenersClarksville, TN – On Saturday, March 8th, 2014 from 8:00am until 3:00pm, the Montgomery County Master Gardeners will hold their 4th Annual One Day Workshop.

This workshop will have Master Gardeners sharing their knowledge about different topics such as veggies, flowers, soil, hostas, hay bale gardening, yard art, pruning for fun and more.

Habitat for Humanity ReStore Hosts First Annual ‘ReCreate’

 

Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County TennesseeClarksville, TN – On Saturday October 8th, 2011, the Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery, TN ReStore will host its first annual ‘ReCreate’, a fall festival focusing on repurposed materials, particularly those found in the ReStore.

Local artists such as Shipley Potter, Dave Jenks, Gemini Dream Design, Doug Wilson, Heart Beaded Jewelry and more will have art for display and sale constructed of renewed and reused items.

Fall 2011 Master Gardener Course Applications are now being Accepted

Montgomery County Master Gardeners Fall Plant Sale

 

UT Extension OfficeClarksville, TN – Montgomery County Master Gardeners Fall Plant Sale on Saturday, October, 23rd, 2010 from 8:00am – till sold out at the Montgomery County Library/Veteran’s Plaza. All plants and bulbs sold come from Master Gardener’s yards – as they split, separate and make changes before the season ends.

Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer your gardening questions.

Learn how to garden from the Montgomery County Master Gardeners

 

The Montgomery County Master Gardeners’ are hosting their 4th annual “Beginning & Newcomer Gardening Short Course” beginning March 2 and ending March 23.  Classes meet Tuesday evenings from 6:30p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and are are held at the Madison Street Methodist Church in Clarksville. The cost for all four sessions is $40. You can register by calling the Montgomery County Extension office at 931-648-5725 or .
