The 2018 Triple-A All-Star Game is scheduled for Wednesday, July 11th at 8:00pm CST at Huntington Park in Columbus, Ohio. The game will be carried live on ALT 97.5 FM with Sounds broadcaster Jeff Hem on the call and televised on MLB Network.

The 26-year-old hurled two shutout performances this week en route to a pair of wins. He allowed just seven hits and two walks while racking up ten strikeouts in his 13 scoreless innings. Bracewell’s scoreless innings streak matched a career-high, which he set in 2016 with Double-A Midland.

Nashville Sounds’ Chris Smith Named PCL Pitcher of the WeekNashville Sounds
Smith, 36, pitched six no-hit innings in the Sounds four-pitcher no-hitter against the Omaha Storm Chasers on June 7th. The right-hander issued two walks and struck out four in Nashville’s 4-0 win. Nashville Sounds drop Series Final to Reno Aces 3-2
The two teams split the four-game series after the Sounds (70-53) won the first two games and the Aces (65-58) returned the favor in the final two. Miller scattered 10 hits and limited the Sounds to two runs in 7 1/3 innings. Nashville Sounds’ Dillon Overton named PCL Pitcher of the WeekLeft-Hander Tossed First Career Complete Game
The left-hander started one game during the week and turned in his first career complete game in Nashville’s 8-1 win over Colorado Springs on April 20th. Pitching in game two of a doubleheader this past Wednesday, Overton went all seven innings and allowed one run on five hits. He didn’t walk a batter and struck out five.

Nashville Sounds fall late to Salt Lake Bees, 4-2Record-Setting Crowd On Hand For CBS Sports Network Game Of The Week
Nashville ended the night 2-for-15 with runners in scoring position and failed to capitalize on three Salt Lake errors. The bullpen’s streak of 19.2 innings without allowing a run came to an end, as the Bees added two runs late in the game to steal the third game of the series.

The 37-year old was a perfect 2-0 in a pair of starts during the week, shutting out both the Sacramento River Cats and Las Vegas 51s through 14.0 innings of work. He was one of four hurlers to win two games over the week and the only pitcher with two starts to not allow a run. In addition, opponents batted .111 (5-for-45) off him, the third-best mark in the league.

Nashville Sounds Wily Peralta named Pacific Coast League Pitcher of the WeekNashville Sounds Right-hander Allowed One Unearned Run Over Two Winning Starts
The 23-year old picked up victories against the division-rival Iowa Cubs and Memphis Redbirds in his last two starts, allowing only one unearned run while striking out 12 batters in 12.2 innings. In his first start of the week, Peralta matched a Sounds and personal season high with seven scoreless innings, striking out six in his 87-pitch effort.
