Fort Campbell, KY – The 163rd Military Police Company, 716th MP Battalion, 101st Airborne Division Sustainment Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) conducted its 2019 SWAT Challenge at Fort Campbell, March 15th, 2019.

The SWAT Challenge was a five-part competition that tested the physical, tactical, and technical capabilities of the Fort Campbell Special Reaction Team, Clarksville Police Department Team and Montgomery County Sheriffs Office Tactical Team.

Kennedy and Hunt are both law enforcement officers with the Montgomery County (Tenn.) Sheriff’s Office. Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office investigates string of Stolen Vehicles

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – Investigators with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating suspects responsible for a string of car thefts that occurred in the Sango and Adams area of Montgomery County.

The thefts occurred between August 3rd, 2018 and August 7th, 2018 on Bryan Road, Boulder Court, Prince Drive, and Ivy Bend Circle.

A total of six vehicles were stolen. A 2017 GMC Sierra, 2016 GMC Sierra, 2016 Nissan Maxima, 2014 Ford Expedition, 2014 Volkswagen Passat, and a 2010 Mazda CX. All the vehicles have been recovered except for the Passat.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office has two in custody for Farmington Subdivision Shooting

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports that Auctaveon Steele, 20, and Kenneth Hill, 20, have been taken into custody for their involvement in a shooting that occurred in the Farmington Subdivision on the evening of Monday, March 5th, 2018.

Hill has been charged with attempted criminal homicide. His bond is $500,000.

Steele has been charged with criminal responsibility/facilitation of a felony. His bond is $250,000.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office investigates Shooting in Farmington Subdivision

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred in the Farmington Subdivision on the evening of Monday, March 5th, 2018.

Units were dispatched to 2500 block of Browning Way at approximately 7:40pm. Upon arrival deputies and investigators discovered a vehicle had crashed into a residence and the driver suffering from a gunshot wound.

The driver was transported by ambulance to a Nashville hospital.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office raises $4,060 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office raised $4,060 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through their participation in No-Shave November.

No-Shave November is a non-profit organization devoted to growing cancer awareness and raising funds to support cancer prevention, research, and education.

Deputies were able to participate in No-Shave November by making a $30.00 donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Montgomery County Sheriff John Fuson, Deputy Chad O’Brien, and Investigator Ryan Ayrest present a check to Jackie Proffit with St. Jude’s Entertainment Marketing for $4,060.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputies recognized for saving lives using CPR, AEDs

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOMontgomery County, TN – Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputies were recognized tonight at the Montgomery County Commission Meeting for saving lives through the use of CPR and automated external defibrillators in three different incidents.

In the first incident on June 27th, Deputy Joshua Gardner arrived to a Gip Manning Road residence where a man was found unresponsive.

Two arrested after Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputy hears gunshots

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOMontgomery County, TN – A Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested two Sunday evening while investigating a suspicious vehicle, hearing gunshots and having several rounds come into close proximity of him.

K9 Deputy Jacob Kent responded to the unoccupied silver Jeep Patriot around 7:00pm on Perigo Road. Kent returned to his vehicle to run the registration on the vehicle when he heard gunshots.

“I heard bullets whizzing past me overhead, and I called for backup,” Kent wrote in a report.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Deputies discover Marijuana Grow

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOMontgomery County, TN – Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Patrol deputies responded to a complaint about a possible marijuana grow shortly before 6:00pm Saturday at 2113 Ferry Road.

When they arrived, deputies observed a small marijuana plant growing outside, behind the home. Deputies then detained the residents and contacted the 19th Judicial District Drug Task Force to assist in the investigation of the marijuana grow.
