Des Moines, IA – Austin Peay State University’s magical late-season run has taken it west and if this Cinderella story is to continue the Governors hope Wells Fargo Arena becomes their “Field”, err, “Court of Dreams,” 3:00pm, Thursday, against No. 1 Kansas in first-round NCAA Regional action, to be broadcast by TNT.
Playing in their first NCAA tournament since 2008, the Governors enter Thursday’s game amidst a six-game winning streak, their longest win streak since the 2010-11 season.

Nashville, TN – After playing the waiting game into the late hours Saturday, Austin Peay State University plans not to let the Ohio Valley Conference tournament opportunity slip from its grasp when it faces Tennessee Tech, 6:00pm, Wednesday, at Municipal Auditorium in the opening game of the men’s portion of the tournament.

Clarksville, TN – The math is pretty simple. For Austin Peay State University to gain an Ohio Valley Conference tournament berth the Governors must finish one game ahead of Eastern Kentucky.
If the Governors (5-8 OVC/12-16 overall) win the remaining three games it also is pretty simple—they will be part of the tournament that begins March 2nd at Nashville’s Municipal Auditorium.

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University men’s basketball team hopes to pick up where it left off before Christmas when it plays host to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, 7:00pm, Monday, in Dave Aaron Arena.
Before the Govs broke for the holidays, they won back-to-back games against Lipscomb, 92-84, last Sunday, and Wofford, 84-77, Tuesday.

Nashville, TN – After trekking some 4,800 miles crisscrossing the country over the past 2 ½ weeks, Austin Peay State University men’s basketball team will voyage just 55 miles down the road to Nashville, 2:00pm, Sunday to conclude its five-game road trip to face Lipscomb at Allen Arena.
The Governors enter Sunday’s game hoping to build a little momentum as is prepares for a six-game home stretch.

Fort Wayne, IN – The last time Austin Peay and IPFW met, it was a battle of two teams attempting to build some momentum.
IPFW came to Clarksville, having won its first game against Manchester. The Govs opened their home season after losing road games against major powers Vanderbilt and Indiana. However, it was IPFW who came away moving forward. The 80-77 road win for the Mastodons was the second in a six-game victory streak.

Clarksville, TN – With the turkey and dressing digested, Austin Peay State University men’s basketball team will put its modest two-game winning streak on the line when its plays host to scorching-hot Samford, 7:00pm, Saturday in Dave Aaron Arena.
The 2-4 Governors opened the week, Sunday, with its season’s first victory, a 91-76 road decision against Northern Colorado, before coming home Wednesday to down Oakland City, 83-55.

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University men’s basketball team faces a tall order literally and figuratively when it plays Vanderbilt, 7:00pm, Friday, in Memorial Gym to open the 2015-16 season.
The contest represents the first game of the Maui Jim Maui Invitational. Vanderbilt eventually will end up in Maui for its final three games while APSU, after playing at Indiana, Monday, heads to Greeley, CO, to play its final two games.
