Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office releases update on arrest of Attempted Homicide Suspect Thomas Reynolds

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Clarksville Police Department, and Stewart County Sheriff’s Office, with the assistance of the Tennessee Highway Patrol have apprehended Thomas Reynolds.

Reynolds was wanted out of Stewart County for attempted 2nd degree murder, aggravated assault, domestic assault, reckless endangerment, and felon in possession of a handgun.

He was apprehend on Butts Road in Montgomery County at approximated 1:00pm Sunday afternoon.

TBI arrests David Dover from Woodlawn for Accessory, Tampering with Evidence

 

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationStewart County, TN – A Tennessee Bureau of Investigation investigation by TBI Special Agents and investigators with the Stewart County Sheriff’s Office and Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office has resulted in the arrest of a Woodlawn man on charges of accessory after the fact and tampering with evidence.

At the request of 23rd District Attorney General Ray Crouch, on September 23rd, 2018, TBI Agents and Sheriffs’ deputies began investigating a homicide that had occurred that day on Rorie Hollow Road in Indian Mound.

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationNashville, TN – An investigation by Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) and investigators with the Stewart County Sheriff’s Office has resulted in the arrest of two individuals on charges related to the search for a TBI Top Ten Most Wanted fugitive last year in Stewart County and Montgomery County.

On September 23rd, at the request of 23rd District Attorney General Ray Crouch, TBI Agents and deputies from the sheriff’s office began investigating a homicide that had occurred that day on Rorie Hollow Road in Indian Mound.

Kirby Wallace captured in Stewart County

 

Kirby Gene WallaceWoodlawn, TN – Just before 10:30am Friday morning, October 5th, 2018, Kirby Gene Wallace was taken into custody by Henry County Sheriff Monte Belew and Corporal Stacey Bostwick. This ended a week long manhunt for the 53 year old Wallace who was wanted for killing two people and injuring another.

Belew and Bostwick had left the search Thursday afternoon but were called back around 12:30am Friday morning because there was need of another track dog. Stacey Bostwick handles Rowdy one of Henry County’s blood hounds.

TBI indicts Former Stewart County Sheriff’s Detective David Evans, Charged with Official Misconduct

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationNashville, TN – An investigation by Special Agents from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) has resulted in an indictment for a former sheriff’s detective in Stewart County in connection to the December suicide of his acquaintance.

On December 2nd, at the request of 23rd District Attorney General Ray Crouch, TBI Special Agents began investigating the shooting death of a man at a home on Lower Cross Creek Road in Indian Mound.

TBI arrests Three more in 2016 Stewart County Murder

 

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationNashville, TN – An on-going investigation by Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation into the 2016 murder of a Cumberland City man has resulted in the arrest of three more individuals, bringing to five the number of people charged in this death.

At the request of 23rd District Attorney General Ray Crouch, on June 7th, 2016, TBI Special Agents joined detectives with the Cumberland City Police Department in investigating the shooting death of Donnie Cooksey.The victim was found deceased in his Wallace Street home.

Tennessee Bureau of Investigation arrest three in connection to Teen’s Death in Stewart County

 

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationNashville, TN – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation today arrested three individuals after the Stewart County grand jury indicted them on various charges for the death of a Stewart County teen who died from a prescription drug overdose in October 2012.

On October 14th, 2012, 17-year-old Kristin Irizarry, of Clarksville, TN, was found dead at 305 Conger Street in Cumberland City. An autopsy revealed Kristen died from acute combined multiple drug intoxication including ethanol and oxymorphone, also known as Opana.  She had no previous prescription drug history.

TBI makes arrest in Stewart County Homicide

 

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationNashville, TN – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has arrested and charged a Clarksville, TN man with the shooting of two victims yesterday afternoon in Stewart County, TN.

James Earl Farley Jr., 26, of Clarksville, TN has been charged with one count of criminal homicide and one count of attempt to commit criminal homicide.

Yesterday afternoon, Farley shot and killed 47-year-old Robert Ray Brooks and shot 25-year-old Billy Nichols at Grice Creek boat dock on Highway 149 in Stewart County.
