Overview and Understanding Common Core State Standards

The Common Sense CoalitionClarksville, TN – A presentation on Common Core Standards will be held on Wednesday, June 26th at 7:00pm in the Pinnacle. This event is sponsored by the Common Sense Coalition and features Lauri Day as the guest speaker.

Lauri Day was the Republican candidate for the 74th district seat in the Tennessee State House of Representatives. She has been traveling around the state educating the public about Common Core since January.

Bowl for Kids’ Sake Benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Clarksville

 

Big Brothers, Big Sisters of ClarksvilleClarksville, TN – Big Brothers Big Sisters is recruiting teams for their 31st annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake. The annual fundraiser has brought the Clarksville community together to raise funds for the non-profit’s mentoring programs for many years. This event is expected to raise $80,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Clarksville.

This event is expected to raise $80,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Clarksville.

The Main Event will be going green on Saturday, March 17th, 2012 at The Pinnacle. The times are 9:00am to 3:00pm. Clarksville, TN – Celebrating New Year’s Eve means many different things to individuals. Some people need to be with lots of friends; others prefer to celebrate with only one special person. The Daymar Instituite announces their fall Bi-Annual Community Career Fair

 

Daymar InstituteClarksville, TN – Daymar Institute, formerly Draughons Junior College is pleased to invite the residents of Montgomery and the surrounding counties to their Fall Bi-Annual Community Career Fair on Friday October 22nd, 2010 from 10:00am-2:00pm. Residents are encouraged to bring 10-20 copies of their resume and be prepared to meet with up to 40 local employers, agencies and organizations. “This is an excellent opportunity to meet face to face with potential employers and learn about job opportunities, make networking contacts and possibly find your next career” says Daymar Director of Career Services, Mary Wauford.
