The virtual commencement took place on the evening of Tuesday, May 11th. Nashville State celebrated the success of more than 1,228 students.

Montgomery County Circuit Court Conducts Hybrid In-person/Virtual Trial

 

Montgomery County Government TennesseeMontgomery County, TN – On February 11th, 2021, Montgomery County Circuit Court Judge Katy Olita, with permission from the Tennessee Supreme Court, hosted the first 19th Judicial District circuit court civil trial using a virtual/in-person hybrid process.

The new technology used for the trial was recently obtained in Montgomery County through funds from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act.

Nashville Zoo’s Zoo Run Run goes Virtual

 

Nashville ZooNashville, TN – Nashville Zoo’s annual Zoo Run Run is now taking place much closer to home. Thanks to the pandemic, the Zoo’s popular 5K event will be taking place, virtually, on the streets, sidewalks, and pathways of Nashville.

All contestants are asked to complete the run on their own between January 31st and February 6th. Proceeds from the Zoo Run Run will help fund the Zoo’s mission and ongoing efforts in environmental conservation and education.

All 5K participants will receive a Zoo Run Run 2021 long-sleeve t-shirt, digital bib, and finisher’s certificate. The Zoo is also offering a one-mile fun run with participants receiving a finisher’s certificate.

APSU Run for the Govs Virtual 5k to benefit Student Scholarships

Austin Peay State University - APSUClarksville, TN – This year the Austin Peay State University (APSU) Annual Scholarship 5K Run will be virtual, in keeping with U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), state and local guidelines. Alumni, friends and community members can participate in the Run for the Govs Virtual 5K at any time between Saturday, September 12th, and Saturday, October 10th, 2020.
