Clarksville Parks and Recreation Wettest Egg Hunt event set for April 13th

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation will host its annual Wettest Egg Hunt event beginning at 11:00am on Saturday, April 13th, 2019 at New Providence Pool, located at 168 Cunningham Lane.

Participants are able to search for plastic eggs floating or sunk to the bottom of the pool.

Some, but not all, of the eggs contain tickets that can be redeemed for prizes.

The Easter Bunny will be on site for a photo opportunity.

Time slots have been established by age groups (ages 1-11), including an egg hunt for children with special needs.

Egg Hunt Schedule

  • Adaptive Egg Hunt – 10:00am-11:00am
  • Age 1 – 11:00am
  • Age 2 – 11:30am
  • Age 3 – 12:00pm
  • Age 4 – 12:30pm
  • Ages 5-7 – 1:00pm
  • Ages 8-11 – 2:00pm

Recreational swim is available to participants from 2:30pm-4:30pm. Registration is required and available online at www.CityofClarksville.com/ParksRec

Deadline to register is by Wednesday, April 10th. Cost is $5.00 per person.

About New Providence Pool

Clarksville's New Providence Indoor Swimming PoolNew Providence pool is the only public, indoor pool in the City of Clarksville.

The pool offers swim lessons, water fitness classes, lap swim, and open swimming November through the beginning of May each year.
