Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University women’s tennis team hosts a pair of OVC foes with significant conference standings implications at the Austin Peay Tennis Courts, this weekend.
The Lady Govs bring in Tennessee State (1:00pm, Saturday) and Belmont (10:00am, Sunday).

Tennessee State (0-8, 0-6 OVC) still seeks its first 2013 victory; the Tigers haven’t picked up a point in six of their eight matches, with London Thomas (No. 2 singles at Morehead State) and Kryston Mason (No. 4 singles versus Graceland University) accounting for Tennessee State’s points this spring. Austin Peay also hosts the Tigers in a 10:30am match, Saturday, that will not count toward the OVC standings.
Belmont (7-7, 3-3 OVC) holds the sixth spot in the OVC as we near the season’s conclusion. The Bruins Carolyn Caire and Natalia Nunes lead Belmont with three conference victories, with Caire predominantly playing No. 3 singles and Nunes residing at No. 4.
