The department saw a record 202 student-athletes named to the Athletics Director’s Honor Roll with at least a 3.0 GPA during the semester. In addition, a record 113 student-athletes were named to the Austin Peay Dean’s List with at least a 3.5 GPA. Instant Peay Play: Governors graduating class left their marks in their time at APSU
Overall, eight different teams – including dance team and cheer squad – had members receive degrees, led by baseball (5), football, men’s tennis and dance (4), soccer and cross country/track and field two each, while cheer and women’s tennis had one graduate each.

APSU has 37 Student-Athletes achieve perfect 4.0 GPAs in Spring SemesterAustin Peay Sports Information
Those 37 student-athletes were among 159 named to the Spring 2015 Athletics Director’s Honor Roll, representing more than half (52.3 percent) of the department’s student-athletes. In addition, 83 student-athletes were named to Austin Peay’s dean’s list. The department finished both the spring semester and 2014-15 academic year with a 2.88 GPA.
