Clarksville Gas and Water announces Madison Street/U.S. Highway 41-A South Water Outage Planned

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has scheduled water main line installation work on Madison Street and U.S. Highway 41A South near the Madison Street and Highway 76 intersection during the early morning hours of Friday, May 1st, 2015.

Construction crews will begin work at 1:00am turning off water service to Clarksville Commons and surrounding area including Food Lion, K-Mart, Wendy’s, Doctor’s Care, Comet Cleaners, BP (Beach Oil), the Hananoki Shopping Center and the Dollar General Store.

The road will remain open to traffic during the work; however, motorists are advised to slow down when approaching the work zone and be alert to workers and their equipment.

The water main installation work is anticipated to be finished and water restored by approximately 7:00am Friday morning.
