Austin Peay State University Governors Basketball game at Eastern Illinois to be Televised by ASN on February 10th

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University men’s basketball game at Eastern Illinois, February 10th, 2016, will be televised by the American Sports Network (ASN).

That will be one of 10 Ohio Valley Conference telecast by Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. on ASN.

Last season’s finale between the Govs-SIUE was also televised by ASN, regionally as was the Governors’ football road opener at Southern Miss, September 12th. Both were carried regionally by MYTV30 in Nashville Tennessee.

Originally, the APSU-EIU basketball game was slated for Thursday, February 11th, but it was changed to accommodate television.

The ASN basketball slate includes eight men’s contests (three of which are non-conference games) and two women’s basketball games. That number is up from five total contests a season ago.

ASN is an initiative of the Sinclair Networks Group, LLC, owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc., which owns and operates programs and provides sales serves to 164 television stations in 79 markets, reaching approximately 43 percent of U.S. television households.

It includes FOX, ABC, CBS, MyTV, CW, NBC, Univision and Azteca affiliates. The exact stations each of the games will air will be announced at a later date.
