Montgomery County releases MCGTNotify Android App

Montgomery County, TN – Montgomery County Government is pleased to announce the release of an emergency notification app for mobile Android devices. The app, MCGTNotify, is free to download and can be downloaded through the Google Play store.

MCGTNotify already serves as an immediate source for local emergency notifications for those with Apple devices, but will now serve those with Android devices too; the app also includes a departmental directory, the Sheriff’s Office booking log and the daily court docket – available right at your fingertips!

Montgomery County Mayor Jim Durrett states, “We are so pleased to now be able to provide our emergency notification app, MCGTNotify to those with Android devices. It was well received by Apple users last year and our Information Technology Department has been working feverishly since then to provide the app for those with androids. I appreciate their hard work and hope that it will be well used by those in our community!”

He continues, “For those wishing to download the app, go to the app store on your Apple or Android device and search MCGTNotify. It is our hope that the citizens of Montgomery County find this app to be an important tool for emergency and county information!”
