Round Rock, TX – Jurickson Profar’s walk-off base hit gave the Round Rock Dance Halls a 4-3 win over the Nashville Honky Tonks at Dell Diamond on Friday night. The 10th inning base hit gave Round Rock a big advantage in the two-game #BattleForTheBoot series between the two American Southern Division rivals.
Profar’s game-winner came off Honky Tonks reliever Aaron Kurcz with one out in the inning. Kurcz struck out A.J. Jimenez to start the inning, but then issued a costly walk to Elio Castillo.

After a team off day on Wednesday, May 10th, the Albuquerque Isotopes – Triple-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies – are in town for a four-game set from May 11th-14th.
Clarksville Police reports Accidental Discharge of Handgun Injuries 3 Year old Female and 27 Year Old Man
Clarksville, TN – On Friday, May 5th, 2017 around 3:05pm, Clarksville Police responded to a shooting in progress call in the 200 block of Caldwell Lane.
When officers arrived they found a 3 year old female with a gunshot injury to her left thigh and a 27 year old man with a gunshot injury to the ankle area.

Participants registering in person may come by the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Office, 102 Public Square, through Friday, May 6th or register onsite at Austin Peay’s Foy Center the morning of Saturday, May 6th.
Clarksville, TN – On Saturday and Sunday, May 28th and 29th, USSSA baseball presents the H&S Farms Strawberry Slam Tournament. Teams from Tennessee and Kentucky will be playing on Saturday and Sunday at Heritage Park.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police report that on April 15th, 2017, Best Motors had two vehicles stolen from their lot. One vehicle was recovered and an arrest was made.
The other vehicle, a 1985 Nissan 300z, Blue, has not been recovered. There wasn’t a tag on the vehicle when it was stolen.
