The cover feature followed “Art for Faith's Sake,” a project born from a rebuilding process at Madison Street United Methodist Church that drew artists from the congregation's past and present and from the wider community. The initiative culminated in a July 4th showing, “Red River Revival,” featuring The Chuck Nation Bluegrass Band — a story of art and faith rising together out of loss.

In a lighter key, “Chew On This Clarksville!” recounted a local food lover's encounter with Guy Fieri, the spiky-haired Food Network host with a love for all things food, capturing the way Fieri and his producers vet locations before featuring them — the piece reaching back to 1996 and the opening of his Johnny Garlic's restaurant in Santa Rosa, California. The issue kept the local business community front and center with the June Business After Hours and coverage of the Clarksville Downtown Market.

The recurring departments round out a late-summer number — from a chamber gala to ArtWalk Clarksville to the Dog Days of Summer — that pairs a story of art and faith with a dash of celebrity fun.
