APSU Women's BasketballEvansville, IN – Trailing by a dozen points halfway through the second quarter, Austin Peay State University women’s basketball used a colossal 17-2 run to close the first half with the lead over Belmont; but the Governors were unable to hang on late in the second half and the Bruins pulled away for a 54-50 win, Wednesday, in the first round of the Ohio Valley Conference Basketball Championship at the Ford Center.

Austin Peay State University Women’s Basketball rally comes up short against Eastern Illinois

 

APSU Women's BasketballClarksville, TN – Trailing by a dozen points to start the fourth quarter, Austin Peay State University (APSU) women’s basketball went on a 13-0 run to start the final period and retake the lead from Eastern Illinois, but the Governors comeback effort came up short in the final minutes of the contest and they fell to the Panthers, 62-59, Saturday in the Winfield Dunn Center.
