APSU FootballClarksville, TN – The past two summers, Austin Peay State University (APSU) running backs coach Brandon Jackson has returned to coach where his professional career began.

Jackson spent the first four seasons of his six-year professional career with the Green Bay Packers, and for two-straight training camps, has returned to Green Bay as part of the Bill Walsh NFL Diversity Coaching Fellowship.

Austin Peay State University adds Four Assistant Coaches for 2018 APSU Football Season

APSU FootballClarksville, TN – The Austin Peay State University (APSU) football team has added four assistant coaches for the 2018 season: Brandon Jackson, Rod Ojung, Fred Tate and Turner West.

Jackson, who will serve as the running backs coach for the Governors, comes to APSU after spending one season coaching receivers at Tusculum.

Fort Campbell Currahees conduct Mass Casualty Exercise

Khowst Province, Afghanistan – With smoke billowing in the distance and loud speakers blaring instructions, soldiers with the 4th Brigade Combat Team “Currahee”, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), conducted a mass casualty exercise during the late afternoon hours on Forward Operation Base Salerno, August 6th.

“Today we are testing the functionality and the ability to react under the most austere situation possible on the FOB,” said Staff Sgt. Marcus Freeman, a combat medic, with Charlie Company, 801st Brigade Support Battalion, 4th BCT, 101st Abn. Div.
