Local CMCSS High School Students to hold “2020 Kick Off Cook Off” for Democrats

 

Montgomery County Democratic PartyMontgomery County, TN – The Montgomery County Democratic Party’s first-ever high school internship program has started with 11 students across the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System (CMCSS).

The collection of local teens, ranging from sophomores to seniors, are now working alongside the MCDP to grow their professional skills in event planning, graphic design, photography, writing, and community organization.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office to hold 3rd Annual Chili Cook Off for Relay For Life

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is a place in Clarksville with lawmen who dedicate themselves beyond the call of duty. In addition to their sworn duty to uphold the law and protect public safety, they are represented with a team each year during the Relay For Life fundraising campaign.

The Annual Chili Cook Off will support its team in their campaign drive to support the American Cancer Society Relay For Life in Montgomery County.

City Departments to compete in Chili Cook-off today to benefit the United Way

 

Come out during your lunch hour, have some great food and help a great cause at the same time.

Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville is holding a Department-wide Chili Cook-off today in the lower parking lot at City Hall from 11:00am till 1:00pm. There is a $5.00 Per Person ticket price for spectators which includes Chili sampling and a drink. The Money raised is going to benefit the United Way. Prizes will be awarded for best side dish, and the best showmanship.

The competing teams consist of four members and must be city employees, or members of the Clarksville City Council.
