Clarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) would like to congratulate the Reserve Deputy Class of 2019 on their graduation.
Chris Brown, James Bryant, Elisha Cox, Ben Eason, Joshua Farmer, Shannon Helmig, Danny Stoval, Kirk Zeaman were sworn in by Montgomery County Sheriff John Fuson in the County Commission Chambers in front of family, friends, and fellow deputies.
Reserve deputies attend a weekly four-hour class for eight months. They complete field training on firearms, emergency vehicle operation, active shooter response, and trauma first aid.
Nashville, TN – There have been only 12 all-time matchups in the regular season between the Tennessee Titans and Green Bay Packers. The Titans, who hold a 7-5 advantage in the series, have won the only three meetings that have been played at Nissan Stadium.
The two clubs have played nearly as many times in the preseason as the regular season. In 11 matchups, the Titans lead the preseason series 8-3. Beginning in 2002, the Titans and Packers met in eight consecutive preseasons, with the Titans earning a 6-2 record in those games.

This is the first appearance for the Titans franchise at Levi’s Stadium, which opened in 2014. The last time the Titans traveled to San Francisco was November 8th, 2009 at Candlestick Park. They escaped with a 34-27 victory, thanks in large part to scoring 24 points off four turnovers. Chris Johnson scored two touchdowns and totaled 135 yards on a then-career-high 25 carries.

Clarksville, TN – Designated hitter Parker Phillips had two home runs but Austin Peay State University’s baseball team saw a late rally fall a run short in a 14-13 Ohio Valley Conference loss to Tennessee Tech, Saturday afternoon.
Phillips’ two home runs highlighted an impressive six home run outing by the Austin Peay (11-12, 4-5 OVC) offense.

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s baseball team freshman Parker Phillips had two home runs and four RBI on the day, but the Governors had few answers for a hot Tennessee Tech squad and dropped both ends of an Ohio Valley Conference doubleheader, 14-3 and 10-8, Friday at Raymond C. Hand Park.
Montgomery County, TN – Montgomery County Emergency Medical Services (MCEMS) and Montgomery County Volunteer Fire Service have answered the call for assistance for the wildfires in East Tennessee.
Currently five MCEMS personnel and 14 volunteer fire personnel are in route to the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area to provide assistance to the emergency personnel already on the scene.

Cookeville, TN – With back-to-back road wins in hand, Austin Peay State University’s baseball team will look to continue its recent road success in a three-game Ohio Valley Conference series against Tennessee Tech, Friday-Sunday, at Bush Stadium.
The series begins with a 6:00pm, Friday contest and continues with a 2:00pm, Saturday contest before concluding 1:00pm, Sunday.

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans (3-3) host the defending NFC Champion San Francisco 49ers (4-2) this week. The late afternoon kickoff at LP Field (capacity 69,143) is scheduled for 3:05pm CDT on Sunday, October 20th.
The contest has been designated as the team’s annual “Code Blue” game. Fans are encouraged to wear Titans blue to work and school during the week, as well as to the game Sunday, and all fans in attendance at LP Field will receive Code Blue T-shirts. This is the sixth consecutive season the Titans have held a Code Blue game.

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans (5-9) play their final road game of the season this week, traveling to Green Bay to face the NFC North Champion Packers (10-4). Kickoff at historic Lambeau Field (capacity 73,094) is scheduled for Noon CT on Sunday, December 23rd.
