Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office has Eight Reserves Graduate

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) would like to congratulate the Reserve Deputy Class of 2019 on their graduation.

Chris Brown, James Bryant, Elisha Cox, Ben Eason, Joshua Farmer, Shannon Helmig, Danny Stoval, Kirk Zeaman were sworn in by Montgomery County Sheriff John Fuson in the County Commission Chambers in front of family, friends, and fellow deputies.

Reserve deputies attend a weekly four-hour class for eight months. They complete field training on firearms, emergency vehicle operation, active shooter response, and trauma first aid.

The two clubs have played nearly as many times in the preseason as the regular season. In 11 matchups, the Titans lead the preseason series 8-3. Beginning in 2002, the Titans and Packers met in eight consecutive preseasons, with the Titans earning a 6-2 record in those games.

This is the first appearance for the Titans franchise at Levi’s Stadium, which opened in 2014. The last time the Titans traveled to San Francisco was November 8th, 2009 at Candlestick Park. They escaped with a 34-27 victory, thanks in large part to scoring 24 points off four turnovers. Chris Johnson scored two touchdowns and totaled 135 yards on a then-career-high 25 carries.

Phillips’ two home runs highlighted an impressive six home run outing by the Austin Peay (11-12, 4-5 OVC) offense.

Montgomery County Emergency Service Personal head to East Tennessee to assist in Wildfires

 

Montgomery County Government TennesseeMontgomery County, TN – Montgomery County Emergency Medical Services (MCEMS) and Montgomery County Volunteer Fire Service have answered the call for assistance for the wildfires in East Tennessee.

Currently five MCEMS personnel and 14 volunteer fire personnel are in route to the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area to provide assistance to the emergency personnel already on the scene.
